And my favourites would most certainly include the very cute and sexy Otome school uniforms, along with ToHeart. I like the Canvas 2 uniforms as well, particularly as worn by Elis and Tomoko - the black ribbons used to tie their hair is V nice indeed.

Actually, that is an anime, Memories off 2 and also in Memories Off 3.5 Inori no Todoku Toki. Greats stuff, but then again, alot of game to anime conversions have great uniforms as well, Mizuiro 2003 brought out the true beauty of Mizuiro's uni's, Hani Hani Op Sanc also featured quite an assortment, for those who dig long skirts, there's Wind a Breath of Heart, heck I've seen alot of the game to anime conversions and they all have cute ones, but of course, my favorites are ones with stockings

Yes, that's a fine one as well. Very nice colours, and the purple overknee socks are nice as well (not as good as white ones, but still nice).

Basically, the prerequisites for good school uniforms are:
- skimpy mini skirts (obvious)
- nice colours
- No front bows obstructing the view on important stuff
- *white* overknee socks (eventually also other *nice* colours, but definitely no ugly gray/black!)
- nice hair ribbons are also a plus (ok, that's not really part of the school uniform)

Oops, missed this till it was just quoted a couple posts ago!

In my section of the country (northeast USA) I've heard them referred to as "thigh-highs", at least by the women who wear them. I'd actually never heard the term "over-knee socks", so that might be the official name when you buy them...having never bought them I wouldn't know But, in my life, I have only ever heard of them as thighhighs, and only ever called them thighhighs...the people I talk to who mention them (usually renaissance faire people) also call them thighhighs.

So, that probably didn't explain much...but at least in my microcosm...people call them thighhighs.

I'd never heard this term, but after looking it up, yup This is good, because now I can tell my friends to call me zettai-ryouiki instead of "thighhigh fiend" like they used to.

For me, I like To Heart2's uniforms the best and any other sailor uniforms that has a bow in mid, color coordianted, and don't hide the girl's asset in some phantom dimensional (Hi Shakugan no Shana's Kazumi).

Yes, the kanji for zettai-ryouiki is 絶対領域

I am trying to perpetuate the English transliteration "absolute territory," but you can feel free to use zettai-ryouiki if that sounds much more "cooler."

I wrote a post about it before the forum crashed, so I try my best to recall what I wrote:

"Absolute territory" is the section of the skin that is exposed between the mini-skirt and the overknee socks. The ideal ratio should be 4:1:2.5 (length of mini-skirt : absolute territory : length of overknee socks above the knee).

A character that is equipped with such weapon can annihilate vast amounts of brain cells, which can amount to an intense moe~ness that is so destructive that one can overcome one's AT field in less than 0.03 seconds.
