Spoiler for NodoHita:
I'm sweating on this one. To me, Hitagi has done all she can, and she is the Moe President-Elect of Korea. She has a chance to inch one step closer to the East Asian Double but it's not going to be easy against someone who came close to the promised land, twice.

Dan Rather:- "Looks like there's more faking than you'd find in a Texas Cathouse. This one is harder see through than a short visit to London during a fog. CBS has this one firmly at TOO CLOSE TO CALL, that's TOO CLOSE TO CALL dear viewers."

Cheering for Charlotte regardless of how bad her situation appears at the moment. Without fakes, I imagine that Yui and Kirame's fight is much, much closer than it seems.
Also, I'm just going to put this out before I disappear for about 5 days... 10/13 Picks: Hitagi Senjougahara Sena Kashiwazaki 10/14 Picks: Tsukihi Araragi Shana My last two favorites are both on the line tomorrow...! (And I can't even try to do anything, because tomorrow is also the day I'm finally graduating; followed by an out-of-town trip) So, placing the usual cardboard bets in advance...

Spoiler for Toki's not the only one sensing a bad moon rising...:
Another reason why I call Toki Onjouji the Baby Jesus: like Toki, Jesus is able to predict events, the most notable being Simon Peter denying him three times, Judas Iscariot betraying him, Simon Peter's eventual fate and (IIRC) the way he would die and rise up. EDIT: Yuu and Kirame are in.

As expected, Yuu doesn't have any problems at all dispatching Charlotte. Yui does a great job challenging Kirame. Unfortunately for Yui, Kirame is a tough opponent to kill. Yui ends up falling short of advancement. It's all up to Akari now. Also with Kirame's win, Saki is now a lock to take F Block as well.
Once again, the Saki character is the big favourite to win their match. Although Hitagi hasn't really been challenged much, beating Nodoka is a tall order. Also Hitagi is from Preliminary group 1 which hasn't been doing so well. If she couldn't deal with Shizuno, I don't see her beating Nodoka. Nodoka is going to keep to Saki winstreak going with their 13th straight win. The second match is a bit more difficult to call. Sena didn't look too good last round where Elsie nearly beat her. She also struggled with Amaha Miu in Round 1. Mio has been crusing through her matches against not very tough opposition. In general K-On hasn't looked too good this year. Sena should probably still be the favourite but I'm siding with Mio. I think it'll be close, though. Votes: Senjougahara Hitagi Akiyama Mio Predictions: Haramura Nodoka Akiyama Mio

Spoiler for Next Four IN!:
Thus to review we now have: the Franchise, Rabbit Ears, the Baby Jesus, the Forgotten One, the Hell Waitress, Kise Lightning, the Plushmaster, the Tease, Mother Russia, the Warm Fuzzy Feeling, [Kuroko cleverly disguised as] Subara and the Dragon Lord. Tapping...Nodocchi and the Steak. Would be surprised if it's a Surf and Turf combo that wins the day today. I hope Mio does well, but with Azusa already winning this, this becomes a difficult proposition for the heavy hitter from K-ON! that we all know and love (to varying degrees).

Well, Yuruyuri continues to try and knock Saki girls off. Once again, they fell short. Will see whether same thing would happen when Akarin face off against Toki in the Saki #1 v. non-Saki #1 matchup.
Yuu won fairly easily as expected, though. Charlotte has some strength, but nowhere close to what it was. For next round... Pick: G3-1: <<戦場ヶ原ひたぎ@偽物語>> H3-2: <<秋山澪@映画 けいおん!>> Prediction: Oppai duo. Hitagi will fell short unless Miracles do happen. As for Mio, I really doubt she has enough strength remain to defeat Niku.

But, the winner may have to face the powerhouses from Blocks E, F, and G. Also, C is no pushover. I am going to go for the record and say that the group victory will be Saki's or Koromo's last. Heard it first.
