I started watching this one recently, and I'm finding it quite fun, especially in the character animation. I'm currently up to episode 11.

Given that everyone's talking about the ending now, it'll be a while before I can join the current discussion, but it's fun so far.

Crossed my mind too. Offscreen deaths are always suspicious. And his design didn't seem easily disposable.
Another likely Gold Saint is the clock killer from Haruto's past - this one is almost a given, even just by looking at his voice actor (Sho Hayami).

Anyway, i like how they were slowly planting seeds here and there for potential Gold Saints. There's also Kiki. And i wouldn't be surprised if Pavlin returns as the first female Gold Saint either.

I have a feeling like he is going to, he wasn't in any of the scenes they showed us where Mars is attacking or Aria is last moments. Is his fear for Mars stronger than his love for Aria?
