Well seems tone-deafness runs in the family, Licorice believed that her sisters some was "wonderful", and it seems Licorice isn't that into singing, she's more for stand up comedy routines...though she's the same as Edy, believes she's good...but no, no...no *shakes head*.
Seems there's alot of air up their *points to their heads*, good thing there's only 2 of them...wonder what it would be like to meet the parents?? |

I'm hoping to find some more VC2 videos over time, but no one has come out with a dedicated playthrough. I know it's only been two weeks, but... |

So before, Licorice sends a letter to Edy telling her how she's an idol in the academy, which is not true, but that's just like Edy in so many ways. And Edy wrote back a letter saying how she would love to see Licorice preforming and dancing at the concert. In which case Licorice freaks out because she's lying, and asked Avan to help her train, because he is conveniently there at the time.
So this scene starts when the place they are suppose to have the concert is being used by other class for training purposes and you just beat them in order to use the place. In which case Edy drops in and comment on how strong Licorice had become, both in heart and physical strength as well as her resolve to become an idol. Avan then asked who this person is, and Edy took great offense, that he doesn't know who she is, and goes on to explain how she's actually the ido/hero of the famed Squad 7 that defeated the Imperials. After which Avan and Edy did their dance part and Edy was pretty impressed and offers in return to sing too. Avan was freaked out by the song, but I can't tell from Licorice's expression. but it seems like she's commenting on how revolutionary her song is. Seems like she's actually enjoying it. Afterward Licorice comments on how she wants to be just like Edy in which case Avan state loudly that it's ok if she looks up to her sister. But ABSOLUTELY do not follow her singing. That's about what I think it means.. |

As long as we're waiting for more videos to show up, here's one from the main website that's got me curious.
http://valkyria2.jp/mov_character01_03.html So... what exactly did Avan do to make Cosette cry like that? |

Well, when you changes the scout to Snipers, it's AP dropped from 450 to 250 and defense also drops to single digit so pretty much by all means it's still similar to snipers from VC1 just you have to level up your basic scout first before you can become sniper.
Well, I am more surprised with Oscar being a shock trooper...errr |

I have a tough time thinking Oscar as a shocktrooper to be sent into the meat grinder. Capt. Varrot as a scout? That's unexpected when I thought she would earn her former specialty (sniper) back instead. |

Well at least it worked. I don't think Captain Bright Noa is just going to waltz into the VC universe to "Bright Slap" Cosette back into sense anytime soon. And besides, think they were trying to avoid the "Get A Hold Of Yourself Man" Trope.

Finally got to play VC2 today. I'm really happy with it. Despite having to guess what buttons to press and not knowing what anyone is saying, im still enjoying it. It's very high quality for a PSP, and when immersed into a battle i dont even notice im playing on a PSP. The only thing im a little annoyed at is how they use portraits and text alot of the time. It's like going through the game on Skits in the 'Tales' series. Either way i'll get used to it. The gameplay is still top notch, and the quality is very high. Not noticed the effect Moral has yet though. I imagine a game like this would be a 'little' better if i could read what they were saying. :3

This Youtube user, sakos2008, has been providing most of the VC2 videos as of late, though his videos are all in Japanese. He just uploaded three more videos revolving around some of the lesser characters, but I'm just going to put up a link to his profile.
http://www.youtube.com/user/sakos2008 Be sure to take a look at these. If possible, translations would also be appreciated. |
