I've watched TONS of anime.
I play WoW, and have played many other video/pc games. (used to be all I did)
I have a Gameboy Micro and Pokemon Emerald.
I've read a ton of fantasy/sci-fi novels.
I'm the person everyone I know asks about computer crap.
I read manga.
I am antisocial.

...I think that about settles it.

Well... I play the occasional RTS or RPG... sometimes... don't know why that would make me a nerd or whatever... what... do you think having fun with video games is reserved for the nerds

I watch anime... so what... some people watch some types of anime and others watch other types of anime... I think I watch about all the types and quite frankly I don't feel like a nerd...

So you can build your computer yourself... bravo... I could probably teach my cat to do it... what’s the big deal you just look at the part and see were it fits... its not like you have to be a genius to do it... hell if you can play with a lego set you can build your own computer... most things fit in only one place... and besides some basic knowledge here and there you don't need any special skill...
Sorry you are not a n00b... n00bs are people that think they know something when they actually don't... and they usually act like smartasses...
Light/Dark>0TAKU you are a normal guy... get over it...

I think everyone here needs to look up the definition of a geek/nerd. I will admit that Iam a semi-geek. I dont care too much about putting a computer together b/c I could probably learn how to do that in a few hours. I want to become a good programmer and hacker. I know a little bit of Perl, C++/C#, Java, Javascript, Html, Xtml, Css, and the rest doesnt really matter much(Going to get into php,asp and crap soon.) I still suck at programming. Iam slightly socially inept because I dont talk much. Video games are getting boring, unfortunately anime is too.
Besides that I have fun play B-Ball and working my butt off.

I have to say nerds, geeks != otaku, gamers, wow extremist.(and EMOS.)
A good example of a geek is Bill Gates.

I'm probably a geek, but at the same time I'm a girl. I'm a hikikomori, have shelves and shelves of shoujo manga, am pretty much an otaku, cosplay, play RPGs, but at the same time..

I like fashion, make-up, thinking about boys and i collect stuffed animals.. and my room is pink. so I'm kind of girly, but at the same time a geek? Maybe..

I got 39% on that test, answering everything truthfully.. ehehe...

Scored 17.357% on the geek test. So I get a mere Geek status. I am definitely not into studying or math/science/programming (dropped out of comp sience).

So I'm what then... can you even be called an otaku if you're only into reading/watching manga/anime? I don't cosplay, buy figurines, go to conventions or any of that. Or even discuss anime really, beyond debating whether it sucks or not.

I looked it up on wiki you would be classified as a geek as they tend to be obbsessive about certain subjects, where as nerds are the highly intellectual type.

25% here

Hmm... 54.24063% - Super Geek.

It can't help that I own almost all of the movies and books listed, but I await someone with a higher score - I'm sure it's just a matter of time around here.

I scored 34.31953% - Total Geek.

Wow, less than I imagined. Must have had to do with all the questions about calculators and suspenders and such.

And as I'm true, I refuse to play WoW, as I recognize the elements it has taken from other franchises and put into a new packaging, and it simply doesn't interest me when the creators of the formula Blizzard copied are busy making a new MMO on the franchise that Blizzard was inspired by when it came to WoW and Warcraft - Mythic's Warhammer Online .

I don't think the test is accurate... well I guess you have to be at least 40+ to score some of the crap there ...

Yeah, I didn't understand the question about having two watches so you can keep track of two time zones at all. I mean, a true geek would calculate the difference, right?

Or even better, know it by heart.
