It's great to be finally back!

I whipped up a new concept for the Extension Device System. As of now, Almaria is no longer a Synchronization Device, but is now classified as a AI-Extension Device (as in AI-Module).

And... I've been also thinking of this bit...

Tertiary: Prototype Armament-Extension Devices
Aurion has an odd habit of bringing along a couple or more random Storage or Armed Devices which he customized himself. None of these devices have AI capabilities and are just generally a bit sturdier and stronger than standard issue devices in TSAB (Incidentally, he also makes more money from manufacturing customized and improved devices for the higher-ranking mages of TSAB). The extra devices he brings can range from swords to firearms. These devices are specialized to individually absorb the backlash of energy from the cartridges. Functionality is sacrificed for durability and a space-consuming energy shock-absorber system, allowing Aurion to use more cartridges without much strain, but at the price of typically harder spellcasting when compared to that of Reishiki or even normal Storage Devices.

Here are some of the common extra devices he brings. They are all stored as cards when not in use:
VKA 01 – Non-AI Armed Device which takes the form of a sword. 5 cartridges default
VKA 02 – Non-AI Armed Device which takes the form of a long-range energy rifle. 5 cartridges default
VKA 03 – Non-AI Storage Device which takes the form of an S2U-class magic staff. 6 cartridges default

However, as time went on, Aurion upgraded the first two VKA units to accommodate the experimental Armament-Extension System, which is one of his current magitech research projects. This function takes place when Reishiki’s frontal frame literally ‘opens’, the mechanical hand being slid to below the forearm to make room for a slot where the either VKA-01 or 02 can be inserted in their card forms into. When the device has been slotted in, Reishiki’s parts clamps in on it and starts transforming and integrating the attached device to become a part of his arm.

VKA 01 – Reishiki changes to become a sword-arm. Melee spells are augmented to a great degree at the price of a sizable reduction in range capabilities.
VKA 02 – Reishiki changes to become an arm-rifle. Shooting spells are augmented to a great degree at the price of a sizable reduction in melee capabilities. This is the more used function of the two since Aurion is primarily a ranged-attacker. Spellcasting in general is also easier here.

The programmed naming of the linked devices varies on the parts attached.

Reishiki BA (Blade-Arm) = Reishiki + VKA-01
Reishiki GA (Gun-Arm) = Reishiki + VKA-02
Almaria BA (Sword-Arm) = Almaria + Reishiki + VKA-01
Almaria GA (Gun-Arm) = Almaria + Reishiki + VKA-02

Regardless, the Armament-Extension System has yet to reach the ideal level of development as the preceding AI-Extension System of Almaria. While the formation and use of the linked devices in itself already cause additional strain on Aurion’s endurance, the system in itself is still inefficient to a degree, as the completed forms are arguably less than the sum of their parts; both literally and taken as a whole with his capabilities. There are indeed boosts in the specific area where Aurion forms the Gun or Sword arms. And of course, there are according decreases in functionality as a whole due to the specialization of the combined devices. But the problem is; the decrease in functionality is lower than it should be; thus the problem as it severely compromises Aurion’s adaptability, which is pretty much his defining point as a mage. To compensate, Aurion only does this in situations where such choice is unavoidably needed or when he has somebody else covering him. And of course, this doesn't suddenly make him an expert in the field the combined device is specializing in. It's more of getting an appropriate utility in extreme circumstances.

A bit liberal with the device concept. but I'll introduce this as one of Aurion's projects....

Any thoughts? I'm willing to adjust/nerf further if necessary.

Erio – Erio, suffice to say was somewhat suspicious about Aurion when they first met; mainly because of his enigmatic persona that reminded him of some of the scientists who treated him as a lab rat before he was saved by Fate. However, he had a change of mind about the strange man when he saw how much Fate seemed to trust him. Out of the four Forwards, he was the next most enthusiastic person to Subaru in the ‘Aurion Dauer Combat Capability Investigation’ plan. As he did not want to believe Fate could lose so easily. In the end, seeing how Fate lost amused him a LOT despite himself. Unfortunately, he had the hardest time of the four since Fate (complete with a flushed face and teary eyes) actually begged him not to laugh, to which he complied with the best of his willpower. Suffice to say, he wasn’t able to hold it, making Fate upset and (in a very uncharacteristically childish way) calling him cruel, subsequently wracking him with guilt. The fact that Caro had a crazy interpretation of the tactic Aurion used to defeat Fate helped little with his plight.

Caro – Caro, not unlike Rein, was a bit terrified of Aurion at first, opting to hide behind anybody (usually Erio) whenever he was around. It was probably due to the strange atmosphere around him, which confounded her. On the flip side, her main partner dragon, Friedrich, was not at all uncomfortable around the man, actually using his head as a perch on some occasion. In any case, Aurion managed to break thru the little girl’s apprehension with enough time. She was also a rather (or more likely the only) oblivious member of Subaru’s notorious ‘Aurion Dauer Combat Capability Investigation’ plan. Unlike the others, she wasn’t really too curious of the matter, but tagged along instead of getting left out. As it turns out in the end, she had the worst reaction of the four forwards when she found out how Fate lost to Aurion using an illusion of Chrono confessing to her. In her impression, Fate was attracted to Chrono by then. It shouldn’t have been so bad, but in this case, she thought that Fate STILL has feelings for Chrono up to now! This caused her to blush heavily and start mumbling about forbidden love between siblings… Fate’s embarrassment (especially her blushing) didn’t help the situation at all, as Caro somewhat involuntarily didn’t believe Fate’s denials. The case was resolved later, but not without a fair share of laughs on Hayate, Nanoha and Keroko’s (as well as the other bridge bunnies’) side.

Depending of how evil was the person in live, it determinates how powerfull is the Demon, it may be reflecting in size, resistance or even capacity of use magic, the Slaves of the Dark also had the power to reanimate corpses and turn them into new soldiers.

In the Slaves of the Dark there are the Greater Demons, this ones are much more powerfull than comon demons, with the capacity of control Magic with the will of a S+ rank mage, althoug it's seems tath the Demon Overlord it's the only one allied with the Emperor... but this is not sure

This is GREAT!!! A much more innovative take on the multiple personality angle since instead of having separate consciousness, they are more like masks that Juli can summon to cope with the environment! I don't see how you could nerf the concept any further considering it's weaknesses. Still, having Megaman-style sword/gun transformations for Reishiki is quite awesome in its own right

“My, my! So this is Mid-Childa,” Agnes cooed as she and Anthony walked down the stairs from the spacecraft. “I never thought Mid-Childa can be this big.”

“Umm… Agnes, it’s Cormorant Islands,” Anthony told her. “Besides, Mid-Childa is to the north of here.”

“My, my! I made an embarrassing comment on this place, aren’t I?” Agnes giggled.

“It is the centre of all the administered worlds, isn’t it?” Anthony added and proceeded to check the tour’s guidebook. “The book here says Mid-Childa is it’s the most technologically advanced world and has the best facilities. Bad thing about it is… it doesn’t have any waterbound city.” Agnes moaned in protest at the fact. “But the good thing is Cormorant Islands were once a port city with… where was it? Ah, here: lots of waterway constructions.”

“My, my. I think I’ll love this place,” Agnes giggled.

The couple continued their trip after leaving the space-port. Along their journey, Anges could not help herself getting immersed in the Mid-Childan atmosphere and its diverse people. “My, my. Aren’t this place wonderful? Look, Anthony. The people are very friendly,” she said and giggled as a a group of children was waving to her.

“Well, they’re quite a bunch of friendly people.” Anthony could only smile when Agnes was surrounded by the children, and he was amused by the sight. “Well, Agnes will lose herself whenever kids see her.”

“My, my, they’re so adorable, aren’t they?” Agnes uttered and began paying attention when the children started asking questions. “Yes, yes! One after another, please!”

“Big sister, what is that weird dress you’re wearing?” one of the children asked.

“Are you coming from around here, Oneechan?” another child asked.

Agnes giggled. “My, my. You must have heard of the gondolier, right?”

The children tilted their head. “Gondolier? What is that?”

Agnes smiled. “A gondolier serves not only to navigate through the canals on her gondola but also becomes the people’s guide to explore the world around them.” She, then, knelt in front of the children and gave one of them a gentle pat on the head with her right hand. “So? Would like to have a ride on a gondola someday?”

Hazukashii Seirifu Kinshii!!! “Embarrassing remarks aren’t allowed!!!”

“Eh?” Agnes turned to the source of the scold. A surprised look was painted upon her face as she realized who had said the catchphrase. “EEEEH???”

The owner of the name simply smiled, as the goggles-donning girl was keeping her finger pointed at Agnes and the boy who was standing next to her was glaring at her in obvious unimpressed reaction, mumbling

“what is that comment for anyway?” “If it isn’t my sister Agnes,” Frieda said.

“It is really you!” Excitedly Agnes jumped at the spectacled woman, embracing her as tight as she could. “Goodness gracious me! I’ve been planning to visit you here, but not actually meeting you here! Aw, I’ve missed you so much!”

“Glad to see you all energetic and cheerful again, Agnes,” Frieda replied and returned the embrace.

“Eh? So it was her who said that?” Agnes cooed.

Frieda nodded. “You have to excuse Sayoko, though. She can be quite overprotective towards me,” she said.

“My, my, she surely looks very cute in that gesture,” Agnes said and turned to the uncomfortable Sayoko. “Right?”

Sayoko blushed at the remarks. “You… you…” Immediately she stood up and pointed to Agnes’ face as she exclaimed “embarrassing remarks aren’t allowed!!” Both Agnes and Frieda giggled, making the goggles girl even more embarrassed than before. “Laughing at other people aren’t allowed!!”

“Anyway, Miss Frieda, do you know her?” the spike-headed boy asked.

“My, my, excuse us for not introducing ourselves.” Agnes coughed and corrected her Undine uniform as she began. “I’m the first sibling of the Johansen Family, Agnes. Frieda is my second sister. This man here is my fiance Anthony.”

“You must be Sayoko Johansen and Takeru Ito, right?” Anthony added as he turned to the children. “We’ve known a lot about you from the letters Frieda sent us.”

“H-haii!!” Instantly the girl in maid uniform stood up and bowed to the couple. “I’m very pleased to meet both of you!!”

“It is an honour,” Takeru said.

“So, Agnes,” Frieda said and put down the teacup. “What exactly brings you here? You aren’t used to travelling to other places, let alone administered worlds.”

Agnes sulked. “Frieda, you’re trying to be mean at me. Can’t I pay my dearest sister a visit once in a while?”

Frieda smiled. “I’m very sorry. I didn’t intend to upset you. Though…” She later pointed to a wrapped object leaning against Agnes’ chair. “You surely don’t have to carry that around.”

Agnes giggled. “I wish I could, but then the elders asked me to bring it as a token of gesture from the Golden Circle,” she said and put a hand on the wrapping clothes. “It’s a prized treasure for us gondoliers. One day…” She smiled and threw her sight to the open sea. “I’ll achieve my long-time dream.”

“Touching at its best,” Takeru commented with a nod.

“Embarrassing remarks aren’t allowed!!!” Sayoko barked and pointed to his face. While Takeru snapped at the exclamation, Agnes and Frieda laughed at the antics, which again caused Sayoko to hide her face in embarrassment. “Stop laughing at me, mou!”

“Well, it’s good to see all of us here. Why don’t we spend our vacation at Frieda’s place?” Anthony suggested.

“My, my! I get to stay with Frieda under the same roof,” Agnes uttered. “Right, Frieda?”

“We’re family, after all,” Frieda answered.

I whipped up a new concept for the Extension Device System. As of now, Almaria is no longer a Synchronization Device, but is now classified as a AI-Extension Device (as in AI-Module).

And... I've been also thinking of this bit...

Tertiary: Prototype Armament-Extension Devices
Aurion has an odd habit of bringing along a couple or more random Storage or Armed Devices which he customized himself. None of these devices have AI capabilities and are just generally a bit sturdier and stronger than standard issue devices in TSAB (Incidentally, he also makes more money from manufacturing customized and improved devices for the higher-ranking mages of TSAB). The extra devices he brings can range from swords to firearms. These devices are specialized to individually absorb the backlash of energy from the cartridges. Functionality is sacrificed for durability and a space-consuming energy shock-absorber system, allowing Aurion to use more cartridges without much strain, but at the price of typically harder spellcasting when compared to that of Reishiki or even normal Storage Devices.

Here are some of the common extra devices he brings. They are all stored as cards when not in use:
VKA 01 – Non-AI Armed Device which takes the form of a sword. 5 cartridges default
VKA 02 – Non-AI Armed Device which takes the form of a long-range energy rifle. 5 cartridges default
VKA 03 – Non-AI Storage Device which takes the form of an S2U-class magic staff. 6 cartridges default

However, as time went on, Aurion upgraded the first two VKA units to accommodate the experimental Armament-Extension System, which is one of his current magitech research projects. This function takes place when Reishiki’s frontal frame literally ‘opens’, the mechanical hand being slid to below the forearm to make room for a slot where the either VKA-01 or 02 can be inserted in their card forms into. When the device has been slotted in, Reishiki’s parts clamps in on it and starts transforming and integrating the attached device to become a part of his arm.

VKA 01 – Reishiki changes to become a sword-arm. Melee spells are augmented to a great degree at the price of a sizable reduction in range capabilities.
VKA 02 – Reishiki changes to become an arm-rifle. Shooting spells are augmented to a great degree at the price of a sizable reduction in melee capabilities. This is the more used function of the two since Aurion is primarily a ranged-attacker. Spellcasting in general is also easier here.

The programmed naming of the linked devices varies on the parts attached.

Reishiki BA (Blade-Arm) = Reishiki + VKA-01
Reishiki GA (Gun-Arm) = Reishiki + VKA-02
Almaria BA (Sword-Arm) = Almaria + Reishiki + VKA-01
Almaria GA (Gun-Arm) = Almaria + Reishiki + VKA-02

Regardless, the Armament-Extension System has yet to reach the ideal level of development as the preceding AI-Extension System of Almaria. While the formation and use of the linked devices in itself already cause additional strain on Aurion’s endurance, the system in itself is still inefficient to a degree, as the completed forms are arguably less than the sum of their parts; both literally and taken as a whole with his capabilities. There are indeed boosts in the specific area where Aurion forms the Gun or Sword arms. And of course, there are according decreases in functionality as a whole due to the specialization of the combined devices. But the problem is; the decrease in functionality is lower than it should be; thus the problem as it severely compromises Aurion’s adaptability, which is pretty much his defining point as a mage. To compensate, Aurion only does this in situations where such choice is unavoidably needed or when he has somebody else covering him. And of course, this doesn't suddenly make him an expert in the field the combined device is specializing in. It's more of getting an appropriate utility in extreme circumstances.

A bit liberal with the device concept. but I'll introduce this as one of Aurion's projects....

Any thoughts? I'm willing to adjust/nerf further if necessary.

The mechanic is tightened and interesting. No problems on my side.

Erio – Erio, suffice to say was somewhat suspicious about Aurion when they first met; mainly because of his enigmatic persona that reminded him of some of the scientists who treated him as a lab rat before he was saved by Fate. However, he had a change of mind about the strange man when he saw how much Fate seemed to trust him. Out of the four Forwards, he was the next most enthusiastic person to Subaru in the ‘Aurion Dauer Combat Capability Investigation’ plan. As he did not want to believe Fate could lose so easily. In the end, seeing how Fate lost amused him a LOT despite himself. Unfortunately, he had the hardest time of the four since Fate (complete with a flushed face and teary eyes) actually begged him not to laugh, to which he complied with the best of his willpower. Suffice to say, he wasn’t able to hold it, making Fate upset and (in a very uncharacteristically childish way) calling him cruel, subsequently wracking him with guilt. The fact that Caro had a crazy interpretation of the tactic Aurion used to defeat Fate helped little with his plight.

Caro – Caro, not unlike Rein, was a bit terrified of Aurion at first, opting to hide behind anybody (usually Erio) whenever he was around. It was probably due to the strange atmosphere around him, which confounded her. On the flip side, her main partner dragon, Friedrich, was not at all uncomfortable around the man, actually using his head as a perch on some occasion. In any case, Aurion managed to break thru the little girl’s apprehension with enough time. She was also a rather (or more likely the only) oblivious member of Subaru’s notorious ‘Aurion Dauer Combat Capability Investigation’ plan. Unlike the others, she wasn’t really too curious of the matter, but tagged along instead of getting left out. As it turns out in the end, she had the worst reaction of the four forwards when she found out how Fate lost to Aurion using an illusion of Chrono confessing to her. In her impression, Fate was attracted to Chrono by then. It shouldn’t have been so bad, but in this case, she thought that Fate STILL has feelings for Chrono up to now! This caused her to blush heavily and start mumbling about forbidden love between siblings… Fate’s embarrassment (especially her blushing) didn’t help the situation at all, as Caro somewhat involuntarily didn’t believe Fate’s denials. The case was resolved later, but not without a fair share of laughs on Hayate, Nanoha and Keroko’s (as well as the other bridge bunnies’) side.

I think if Kha heard that even he couldn't keep stoned either, and may even reply with a rare tease of his own. You could say he'd do that to get a lighter reaction from Fate (a playful slap across the shoulder perhaps?) and show Erio that is alright to laugh.

As for Caro, it all fits.

[13-year-old Julie in Adventure Form without visor]

As with the two other Belkarangers, Julie uses the Asagi-designed standard “Adventure Form” uniform, based on the Boukenger suit and equipped with multipurpose visor during presentations. An advantage Julie has over her companions though is her much higher magical aptitude and Linker Core capacity and output, translating to a much higher magical rank. Her barrier jacket is thus able to absorb and withstand more magical punishment than Asagi and Mayura’s. Also, Julie can purge the collar, necktie, gloves and boots of her Adventure Form Jacket to create a much lighter version called “Shuriken” form, which gives her increased mobility at the cost of protection.

Unique to Julie’s barrier jacket is her magical program Soul Advent: Infinity Wardrobe, a companion program to Infinity Effects Works. This program is an enhanced version of the mental Barrier Jacket visualization program used in intelligent devices (essentially the program that allows one to design and create a barrier jacket based on their mental images). This enhanced program offers better formation speed, accuracy and complexity to the creation process, allowing Julie to realize complex and intricate outfits and designs down to the smallest detail, from fabric type to stitch to creases and even badges and pins. This allows her to create outfits to instantly match her change in physical appearance, resulting in more convincing disguises. Due to the complexity of the program only Julie and her devices have the ability to use it to its full potential.

Also unique to Julie is her Strike Change (SC) cards. These are magical device cards that can conjure a pre-designed barrier jacket in an instant. These require minimal magical energy from the user to activate, and allows for the summoning of Barrier Jacket designs that would be impossible under normal circumstances due to energy cost, such as heavy all-metal armor and full helmets (one reason Asagi decreed the use of visors was because her own magic levels were insufficient in creating helmets). Also, these cards can be used by others authorized to use them, like her fellow Belkarangers. However, these cards can only maintain power for the Barrier Jacket for up to three minutes maximum, and are thus used sparingly.

As is the norm for the Belkarangers, these Strike Change cards use Tokusatsu show and Super Sentai inspirations for the Barrier Jacket templates, and are activated with much HOTBLOOD, FLASH and SFX depending on who uses them.

Here are a few of Julie’s most used designs from her Strike Change cards.

Metal Armor Type:
These are Barrier Jackets with enhanced physical protection in the form of hard steel composite adamantium plate, which cover nearly the entire body. While giving improved protection from physical attacks, these metal armors are quite heavy even with the assistance of Impulse Spells, and thus used in engagements where anti-magilink technology degrades the effectiveness of standard Barrier Jackets.

Julie has three armor forms, which are based off the main character costumes of the Space Sheriffs series of Metal Heroes, and her activation style is taken directly from their fabulous henshin sequences. Functionally, there is no difference between the three suits, and Julie chooses which suit to use out of whim.

“Diamond” Form -



Silver armor, based on the design of Space Sheriff Gavan. Summoned by the command “Jouchaku!”

“Ruby” Form -



Red armor, based on Space Sheriff Sharivan. Summoned by the command “Sekisha!”

“Aqua” Form -



Blue armor, based on Space Sheriff Shaider. Summoned by “Shouketsu!”, or alternatively “Blue Flash”. Of the three armors, this is Julie’s most used.

Heavy Armor Type:
This armor type is lighter than the Metal Armor Type by reducing the amount of plate armor. This armor is a compromise between the requirements of mobility and protection, slower than Light Armor Types, yet offers less protection than Metal types. Nonetheless they are still useful in a variety of situations where both are required.

The three main Heavy Armors are based off Super Sentai’s “Sixth Sentai” costumes.

MagiShine –



Golden armor taken from Mahou Sentai Magiranger. Julie summons this using MagiShine’s transformation sequence. The cape can be used as a AAA+ magic shield.

BoukenSilver –



Silver armor from GoGo Sentai Boukenger, and is summoned using BoukenSilver’s transformation sequence. The Boukensilver helmet provides all the functionality of the Adventure form helmet, including built-in searchlights.

Shurikenger –


The Shurikenger costume and Fire Mode

Green and gold armor from Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger, and is summoned with Shurikenger’s sequence. Out of all the armors in her arsenal, this is Julie’s Number One All-Time Favorite.

Light Armor Type:
This armor type offers the best mobility of the armor types, but at the cost of reduced protection, offering only minimal barrier jacket protection.

As with the Heavy Armor, these are derived from “Sixth Sentai” costumes.

Shurikenger Fire Mode -

Like as shown in Hurricanger, this mode is derived from the Heavy Armor Shurikenger form, where the front golden armor vest is removed and the upper half of the helmet turned around, improving all around mobility and speed.

As people go, Don is an excelent example of the all too underrated philosophy of Hard Work, Guts, and Determination. Unlike many more gifted mages, Don has, since his childhood days, worked for every ounce of dignity, skill, knowledge, and respect he's earned in forty years. More than anyone on the Best Force, he understands the underlying value of back breaking labor, the sting of even the smallest loss, and the importance of being conservative and efficient.
Starting from his early days, he persued the route of the engineer and mechanic, opting to work on the physical and practical, rather than the meta-physical abilities of Magic in general. Working hard, and never stopping even in the face of failure, he earned his engineering degrees, all six of them, from his own blood, sweat, and tears.

He earned his position with the best force the same way, working hard, never quitting, putting in overtime. With knowledge, skill, experience, and age, he earned the seldom noticed position of Head of Maintanance. A master engineer and scrupulous mechanic.

It is this hard working background that made Don the way he is today. Don abhors waste, inefficiency, and failure. He often can be seen as the engeering version of a packrat. If it can be used, you can be sure he's the one who finds a way to use it. His pet peeves stretch from matierals, to money, to even effort. Don hates wasted effort and wasted potential probably more than anyone would realize.

This is probably why he is as angry as he is whenever something is broken by carelessness, or ignorance. Each piece of damaged equipment reprisents hours of effort, sometimes on his own part, wasted away, and he will not hesitate to let ANYONE know that.

ANYONE. It has been rumored that during a personal inspection visit by Gen. Regius himself, Don had been crossed by the General's overall disdain for some of the equipment he'd been working on, and dropped what he was doing, to explain in explicit detail over a period of two hours, exactly what practical uses the equipment would have, from direct use, all the way to the repurcussions using the recycled equipment would have on improving the budget situation of the TSAB as a whole, while screaming it all at the top of his lungs, until he was blue in the face as he constantly swung a pair of vehicle spanners dangerously close to the senior general's face.
This is where the legacy that is Double Spanners Don (Or Double S Don as he's also reffered to.) was born. Don simply is not afraid. As a proud mechanical engineer, he thinks of himself simply as a problem solver. The rest of the staff treat him with great respect, and a certain level of satire, going so far as to rank his bad moods on a scale from C, to SS. Nobody argues with his mechanical decisions, and everyone appreciates his effort to keep everything running as smoothly as he does.

To date, he's been at Odds with Crash, almost since the arrival of the Pilot to the test facility. Seeing Crash as the ultimate threat to efficiency and waste management, he almost always directs his rage towards the test pilot, to which Crash has become accustomed to hearing and ignoring. It infuriates Don even more that technically, ninty-nine point nine percent of the problems aren't actually Crash's fault, but more a series of highly improbable events that happen to occure in his pressence. Be they the moments equipment decides to fail, to the domino effects that destroy communications towers. All of which he sees as caused by Crash and his Murphy Effect, but niether that fault of Crash being deliberate, or negligent.

He however, absolutely Adores Fox, seeing the mechanically inclined young lady as a surrogate daughter, and one who shares a common interest. Often instructing her to plug her ears when he's preparing to go on a tirade, and requesting her help on mechanical work during downtime.

As for Nanoha, I wouldn't say she lost it forever. Magic power is like the body, it can be trained to improve, so it should be rehabilitatable. However, concidering 8% of someone like Nanoha is huge, and she has to avoid excerting herself to avoid permanent damage for a year (Shamal's orders) I don't think it will be easy to regain her strength.

I thought I'd read where the 8% damage was permanent? I might have had a wonky source, but I could have sworn it was gone for good. Correct me if I'm mistaken. If that kind of strength is regainable, though, that works to my advantage.

“It is the centre of all the administered worlds, isn’t it?” Anthony added and proceeded to check the tour’s guidebook. “The book here says Mid-Childa is it’s the most technologically advanced world and has the best facilities. Bad thing about it is… it doesn’t have any waterbound city.” Agnes moaned in protest at the fact. “But the good thing is Cormorant Islands were once a port city with… where was it? Ah, here: lots of waterway constructions.”

“My, my. I think I’ll love this place,” Agnes giggled.

The couple continued their trip after leaving the space-port. Along their journey, Anges could not help herself getting immersed in the Mid-Childan atmosphere and its diverse people. “My, my. Aren’t this place wonderful? Look, Anthony. The people are very friendly,” she said and giggled as a a group of children was waving to her.

“Well, they’re quite a bunch of friendly people.” Anthony could only smile when Agnes was surrounded by the children, and he was amused by the sight. “Well, Agnes will lose herself whenever kids see her.”

“My, my, they’re so adorable, aren’t they?” Agnes uttered and began paying attention when the children started asking questions. “Yes, yes! One after another, please!”

“Big sister, what is that weird dress you’re wearing?” one of the children asked.

“Are you coming from around here, Oneechan?” another child asked.

Agnes giggled. “My, my. You must have heard of the gondolier, right?”

The children tilted their head. “Gondolier? What is that?”

Agnes smiled. “A gondolier serves not only to navigate through the canals on her gondola but also becomes the people’s guide to explore the world around them.” She, then, knelt in front of the children and gave one of them a gentle pat on the head with her right hand. “So? Would like to have a ride on a gondola someday?”

“what is that comment for anyway?” “If it isn’t my sister Agnes,” Frieda said.

“It is really you!” Excitedly Agnes jumped at the spectacled woman, embracing her as tight as she could. “Goodness gracious me! I’ve been planning to visit you here, but not actually meeting you here! Aw, I’ve missed you so much!”

“Glad to see you all energetic and cheerful again, Agnes,” Frieda replied and returned the embrace.

“Anyway, Miss Frieda, do you know her?” the spike-headed boy asked.

“You must be Sayoko Johansen and Takeru Ito, right?” Anthony added as he turned to the children. “We’ve known a lot about you from the letters Frieda sent us.”

“H-haii!!” Instantly the girl in maid uniform stood up and bowed to the couple. “I’m very pleased to meet both of you!!”

“It is an honour,” Takeru said.

“So, Agnes,” Frieda said and put down the teacup. “What exactly brings you here? You aren’t used to travelling to other places, let alone administered worlds.”

Agnes sulked. “Frieda, you’re trying to be mean at me. Can’t I pay my dearest sister a visit once in a while?”

Frieda smiled. “I’m very sorry. I didn’t intend to upset you. Though…” She later pointed to a wrapped object leaning against Agnes’ chair. “You surely don’t have to carry that around.”

Agnes giggled. “I wish I could, but then the elders asked me to bring it as a token of gesture from the Golden Circle,” she said and put a hand on the wrapping clothes. “It’s a prized treasure for us gondoliers. One day…” She smiled and threw her sight to the open sea. “I’ll achieve my long-time dream.”

“Touching at its best,” Takeru commented with a nod.

“Embarrassing remarks aren’t allowed!!!” Sayoko barked and pointed to his face. While Takeru snapped at the exclamation, Agnes and Frieda laughed at the antics, which again caused Sayoko to hide her face in embarrassment. “Stop laughing at me, mou!”

“Well, it’s good to see all of us here. Why don’t we spend our vacation at Frieda’s place?” Anthony suggested.

“My, my! I get to stay with Frieda under the same roof,” Agnes uttered. “Right, Frieda?”

“We’re family, after all,” Frieda answered.

Aaaah so Sayoko is the one who truly possesses the SPIRIT of Aika here (whom I believe is low-level tsundere)
