By now, IS is still amidst the numerous generic highschool battle that comes out every months in Japan, I'm not sure how could the franchise survive in the next few years if Izuru continues like this.
Of course, unless he pulls a Kouki on us and let several next arc be the so awesome/epic/ emotional that the LN would skyrocket in sales but I doubt that will happen.

here is my thought of what could happen after the game in the series: we might know the reason why ichika's parents abanden him? we might get a little/ a lot more info about P.T (phantom task) & M we might know or at least give a clue on why ichika is the only guy that can pilot an IS unit, & maybe JUST maybe, we might get another male IS pilot

That or Izuru and the editors decide more softcore hentai sells better and they hose down the plot that Izuru set up out of spite for all his naysayers while throwing his hands up while waiting for the next big MMO.

Sorry kid, but you really gotta read the mood. Everyone on this series is divided into "I watch for "PLOT"" and "I watch for plot" teams. You can guess which ones are disgruntled and despairing.

There seems to be lot more alpha male harem series popping up these days that are doing really well. Maybe that will encourage Izuru to change Ichika a bit.
