Also, avatar goodies are in the wild on the XBox Live marketplace; so far it's a disappointment. You never know power armour for your avatar could be an unlock-able reward for completing ingame achievements like they do with a lot of games now.

Couldn't see it mentioned but to touch on an earlier subject co-op mode is planned for the game but would ship with the game on release =/

Initially hinted at being released a month after the game its now not known when it'll be coming out but I dare say it will most likely be paid DLC when it does.

So does anyone know if the online will let you fully customize your Space Marine/ Chaos Space Marine armor like Relic did in Dawn of War? I want to have my pink Hello Kitty SM chainswording the heads off of Chaos

I also I hope they add on the Tau and Eldar in expansion packs latter if the core game is good. Maybe Genestealers too.

I doubt any of the other races will make it into this installment, they'll maybe save them for sequels.

Would be nice to fight the eldar though and crush those bloody prism tanks >=/

Apparently, someone got their hands on the demo scheduled for launch next week (reference), and saw fit to record for posterity.

Spoiler for First demo mission:

Quite aside from sound sync issues, this individual unfortunately makes a couple of key mistakes:

apparently not getting the memo that finishers not only look badass, but are a much more convenient means of health regeneration than using Fury Mode (though he does catch on around 3:55 into the second video); and
despite having the Vengeance Launcher (blooper firing sticky remote charges) in the arsenal, does not put it to use in a situation where it would have helped considerably (the onslaught near the end)

To be fair, not using the finisher on the Nob near the end could be justified by the amount of other orks in the immediate area - you are not invulnerable while doing a finisher, and the process for Nobs (and, IIRC, CSMs) is a bit longer than for the lesser enemies.

The other part of the demo shows off the jump pack...

On the one hand, this is his (her?) first time playing... on the other, onscreen instructions aside, it's not like previous footage has been shy about showing off the potential of the ground pound...

Players used to pain regular Space Marine models in Grey Wolf colors, just like what's done here, that's what I meant.
