I asked this in a Fate/Stay thread but if Ryougi can cut through concepts, does that mean she can cut through ideas and thoughts as well? How is this possible?

Well, Toko is the sister of Aoko Aozaki from Tsukihime. If you don't know who she is, she's actually the one who provided Shiki the magical glasses because of his Mystic Eyes of Death Perception powers. So yes, I think there's definitely a connection between Tsukihime and Kara no Kyoukai. I'v never heard of it being connected to Fate/Stay Night though except the fact both were created by TYPE-MOON.

The relationship between Fate/Stay Night and Kara no Kyoukai is rather tourtous actually. Both Aoko(Touko's sister), and Zelretch(from Tsukihime and Fate Stay night), indirect founder of the holy grail system, true ancestor and creator of the Kaleidoscope magic are considered magicians, or wielders of true magic. Touko is also indirectly mentioned herself in one of the Fate/stay night scenarios.

The gg-TakaJun version of movie 5 took about three and a half days, so I've got my fingers crossed for a weekend release.

Finished watching the final movie. Quite emotional at Shiki's character in this one but even more surprised at Mikiya's.

Was very creeped out from the POV shots of Mikiya and Shiki walking through the dark alley ways thinking something was gonna jump out any second. It certainly added a lot to the atmosphere in addition to the creepy music as well. Shiki's first encounter with Lio was quite tense (particularly the revealing of his face) and the fight scenes were rather quick and sharp.

I honestly didn't expect Mikiya to actually go and meet Lio considering how dangerous and psychopathic he was, but it definitely showed Mikiya's good nature of wanting to save him even with all the killings he had done, even telling Shiki he won't forgive her if she kills Lio. I guess it's similar to his belief in Shiki not murdering people as well, always trying to see the good in people but it left me rather surprised regarding his attitude towards him.

Shiki's love for Mikiya towards the end during her final battle with Lio brought a lot of pain and sadness within her. When she thought Lio had already killed Mikiya, her initial refusal to fight Lio by just standing there and letting him slash her arms and legs (while thinking of all the happy times she spent with Mikiya) was heart wrenching. Most definitely when you finally see her cry.

Nice conclusion after the credits though (despite Mikiya losing his left eye), the closing monologue from Shiki saying the thing that she wanted the most wasn't a knife anymore but a hand she can hold and won't let go of.

And finally it ends. I felt that this movie closed up the entire series very well; it was very satisfying. Certainly the most emotional of the movies, I'd say. I feel drained and burned out now, from the movie itself and from the fact that I no longer have another kara no kyoukai movie to look forward to.

There is a special epilogue that will be animated though, it was confirmed in the pamphlet for the 7th movie and will either be an DVD OVA special or a movie.

yes i was wondering about , i remember reading in this very thread that they have enough stuff to do more ovas or movies maybe 1 or 2.

, I think. The 7th movie is nice, bit slow but conclusive.

My god the score for the seventh film is good. The dark direction it takes once it passes into the second half is outstanding. I don't know yet if it's my favorite out of the seven scores. Will have to decide once i've experienced the actually score when watching the film.

But for now, wow it's good. Seriously Kajiura, why can't all your works be as good as your Kara no Kyoukai scores.
