actually ermita stated the reason that male claymores becomes awakened beings quickly, mainly because the awakening is quite pleasureble for them, maybe something like a sexual pleasure, well you know, males would always be males lol so that's why they've decided to stop creating male claymores, to avoid those awakened beings

Never clearly explain in either manga or anime. So, again no one knows.

Somehow, he knew what was going on, which may indicate a line of communication between Awakened Ones and the organization

And the guy on the outside seemed even more suspicious than the first guy from the organization that we met. Apparently he couldn't sense yoki, but I swear his eyes looked like he had more than a little youma blood in his veins.

I'm very interested in who this guy is. He gives off a bit of a subversive vibe, which means he's either a good guy in a bad situation or a bad guy bent on world tion. I tend to assume the former, as Rubal practically holds a sign reading "don't trust me" at all times, and he seems to be one of the more well-informed members of the organization (he was obviously lying when Raki was questioning him). Rubal also seemed to know the true purpose of the hunt he sent Clare along for. However, the man we saw with Galatea (forgot his name) seemed to be interested in observing. If he knows what's going on, there isn't much need for that. Therefore, I tend to conclude that he's plotting something, and since he's likely not in league with Gendo Rubal, I think he may be plotting something to better the organization.

Alternatively, he could oversee an elite squad of Claymores, perhaps some that don't officially exist, and called Galatea out to gauge the participants. Whether he can sense Youki or not is still up in the air, as he indicates that he called for her because of her ability to sense it from such a distance.

^ Lol, lots of talking maybe, but all very important plot points. From Episode 11 onwards, the entire dynamic changes from Claymores vs Youmas, into something more complex, and a lot less black & white.

Well, Claymore aren't vampires in w/c they bite each other to become Claymores, that's for sure.

I enjoyed this episode. The story of what the organization might be up to is one of the things that most interests me in this series. I like the art style too, but mostly I'm in it for the story.

^ I thought so at first, but gradually, I noticed that no other "elves" turn up. It appears to be a quirk the mangaka added on a whim. If we had to explain it though, it's probably something to do with her hybridisation.
