Thankfully, I watched the raw about three times before downloading that fake one. I actually enjoyed the anime and already looking forward to the next episode already. Luckily I know enough Japanese to enjoy raws. Watching subs is just to correct me where I couldn't understand what was being said, like in OP and ED songs. (The "Engrish" in Rideback's OP is an extreme example...)

Luckily the fake subs were spotted and news got around before I wasted any bandwidth on them - the person(s) responsible need telling that April Fool jokes only apply on the First of April! It's all a bit pathetic really.
I'll check out the real subs when I get home from work, from what I've heard of this series so far it sounds like the kind of thing I'd like! |

Man, this episode was pretty weak comedy and cuteness -wise, not to mention the sloppy animation. Perhaps the 16:9 broadcast will have fixed the latter, bringing the quality closer to DVD/BD release. The ED song was pretty good though, but apart from that I'm really not biting the hype (hype I helped generate myself when the series was first announced). If I hear good things about it later on, I'll pick it up again.
