Why don't they put a static timeline and have everyone stay the same age/grade forever

Where do you live. Most of the girls I knew in middle school had at least medium sized busts.

BTW how come we never see or hear Mugi sing? Even though she originally wanted to join the choir (or did she say chorus?) we never see her sing or hear her singing voice. Even Ritsu is shown "singing" (looks like lip syncing to me) in the ED but Mugi keeps her mouth shut in a peaceful smile.

I reckon Mugi must know how to sing. Not only because she wanted to join the chorus club (why would they mention that if she didn't sing? it would be a plot hole). Mio and Mugi should be the vocalists (so far they seem to have the most potential vocal-wise), but Mio is far too shy for that (heck, is she thinks guitar players are in the spotlight, what about the singers then...?), so Mugi could be one of the potential vocalists, and maybe Yui as well.
