Dang... her mom looks so much FUN. Not to mention she's Pretty too.

And it looks like the Mom has spirit powers, as thus is how she can keep the flowers alive by herself while it requires countless ghosts to replace her. Plus, even the Dad could see her... she basically comes out not just a ghost, but some sort of physical being. Bet the mom used to be a Priestess. As for ep 11 end... I wonder if the ghosts end up trapped inside her... LOL That or because her mom came out, she temporary lost her powers? kinda like that glasses's effects from a while back. |

I totally went into a KISS!KISS!KISS chant when Amami and Inoue hold hands like that. xD
And when Amami accepted her life as it was and came back into the kind and love person she was, she was able to see her ghost friends again, yay, happy ending!

A teary confession scene where someone drops the line "I want to be friends with you forever."
K. #shiptrolling101 -- I understand not digging deep into Amami's mystery flowers, or the actual why and how of the power loss and recovery, since this is a series that relies on emotions first and foremost. That being said, I'm not too happy that some of the ghosts are not explored at all. The silver-haired ghost girl looks like she's so much fun, yet where is she the whole time!? |

Ep 13 Finale
Well, not so bad. For me the highlight was meeting the theme park ghost again after the years had passed. On the whole it got off to a fairly uninspired start for me, and then slowly started to get a little better, but still kept to a level of attempted humor it did not need to, I felt. Just can't shake the feeling that it could have easily been better. 6/10 from me.

The show had its moments, that's true. There were a few times I came close to dropping it but every time I decided to try one more episode, that was a better one so I stuck with it.
We could probably have done without the pervy cat, for example. Its more heartwarming episodes were where it really shone, I felt. |

I am a big fan of Kido Ibuki (Amami's seiyuu). That is the only reason I was able to get through as much of this uninspired show as I did. And even Kido-san wasn't at her best -- or at least the gentle and restrained style she was doing seemed so out of place with the other voices that her character receded into the background.
The show did have its moments: in this ep, the return of the amusement park ghost was beautifully done. But I never got Narumi at all. Maybe that was partly her seiyuu Itou Miku, who has never done much for me (some producers like her, though -- she'll be Mariko in Million Doll this summer).

I'm actually really happy with the show's feel in general, although much of the humour felt forced, and I really hated the cat. But overall I'm quite fond of the show. |
