It's averaging just over 5000, which is not bad above average but not at the numbers where a second season is guaranteed.

The volume sales have all been within the 5000-5600 range, and yes it's well within the range where a second season is possible.

I know I'm kind of nitpicking here, but the average is indeed more 6.000 than 5.000:

Volume 1: 6.191
Volume 2: 5.792
Volume 3: 6.030
Volume 4: 5.822
Volume 5: 5.789

Of course it has to be noted that once the weekly sales fall off the 100 region it won't get listed anymore.

Those numbers are going by that alone sufficient for a second season. But I guess for that to happen the LNs have to progress a little bit first. Last but not least, sometimes good numbers still don't guarantee a second season in the immediate future. Hataraku Maou-sama had an average of about 11.000 or so and as far as I know there still isn't any news of a possible sequel despite the source material being more than enough to allow for one.

well it is indeed a GUILTY PLEASURE show.

The thing that makes me excited is to see new kenjuu and how powerfully broken it can be and it looks.

Now, now, that last cover shows girls who are all clearly not tsunderes. The witch is pretty open with her feelings, the young illegitimate princess is just too innocent and pure, and ... well, older princess is just boss.
Unfortunately, the two main girls are both tsunderes.
