Episode was typical for To Love Ru, not anything new, decently amusing.
Chuckled seven times, laughed once (at the Haruna/naked Rito scene).

Not sure why, but I'm starting to find Lala a bit annoying now (annoyance meter rises from 0.0% to 0.4%...), whether it's because of Peke and his voice, or the exaggerated breast bouncing, or what...

to show up. I'll be honest and say that waiting for her appearance is one of my main reasons for watching this show. (that doesn't mean I don't find the show itself to be entertaining, mind you ) I hope she actually gets folded into the harem in the anime, whereas in the manga she's still kinda hinging.

If she does get officially folded into the harem in the anime, she won't be lovey-dovey for him. Her feelings for him will be shown just as they are hinted in the manga, as the quiet tsundere type, so it wouldn't ruin her character. Recall the chapter where

Love Triangle

Lala appears at school, and Rito becomes exhausted.
Even when he gets a chance to talk to Haruna, for some reason, the conversation topic turns to Lala. Plus, being told "You two suit each other", he becomes even more disappointed.
The next day, by Mikan's suggestion, they go out to town for the sake of letting Lala sightsee Earth. Seeing Lala innocently delighting over everything, Rito unintentionally thinks "She might be cute."
Afterwards, the group coincidently meets Haruna and all head to the aquarium, but there, Haruna tells Rito "There's something I need to speak with you about."

Lala's transformation still catches me off here's hope that they will lose that for something else in the future.

Another good ep imo. Unlike most ditzy types, I am really getting into liking Lala's character. Usually characters like her are just overwhelming with moe (which is kinda too much sugar for me) but Lala has a nice balance.

Rito sure is a lucky yaro. The classic scene with angry fanboys chasing to end his life was all too classic but rather funny. It wasn't overplayed unlike some. Then the teleportation to Haruna. I swear it is no mare coincidence

The preview title is already getting me ready. Rito still loves Haruna but now that Lala has come into his life, things are pretty messed up for him.

Are you serious? Ataru is just plain unlucky, he's very brave, energetic, not stupid in the least and knows what he wants. Rito, on the other hand, is the wimpiest, stupidiest and dumbest character ever - he's far below the level of nosebleeds, he faints just from imagining a girl in a swimsuit - not even naked!
All in all Rito is an inert mass, an empty space - it takes several years for him to confess!

Ataru is quite the unique main character for me, simply because the lecherous bastard actually wants a harem and actively pursues that dream. (Lum won't have any of that of course.) I'm just not sure if I can classify Urusei Yatsura as a harem romance though.

In contrast, nowadays harem leads tend to be the hapless nice guy archetype that, for some reason or another, all of a sudden becomes lucky enough to end up having one. Well, that's the gist of the scenario at least.

Just found Ataru's attitude a bit annoying with his pervertedness. BTW Rito has showed signs of bravery hell the very first episode/chapter showed him helping out Lala. And about the confession well he did confess sure it took a long time but he still did it... though it turned out to be the wrong person.

lol, Rito suffered all kinds of fail trying to grab those tits to break off the engagement. Didnt help his cause that Sairenji continues to catch him in odd situations

Overall i give it an 7.5, episode 3 from the preview seems better.

Episode 2 was mostly filler it did have a with a few scenes from the manga, I guess they wanted to make the whole marriage between Rito and Lala to make a bit more sense. I did like the scene between Lala and Rito near the end when Lala talk about her homelife in Devilluke. From the preview it looks like it's going to stick close with the manga now also it should be by ep 4 when the new castmembers finally show up looking forward to it because that's when the series starts to get really good.

Some of the scenes with Zastin in episode two were pure gold. It's just another typical Koyasu role, and yet again he does it perfectly.

Honestly a little surprised he failed in getting it canceled. Since if he's locked in now then there really isn't any other choice to him. Even if it got canceled that wouldn't take Lala out of the picture. But now if Rito doesn't marry Lala the world along with Haruna gets blown to bits. Will just have to toss his plans and the girl he wanted to end up with out the window. Know eventually he'll start developing more feelings for Lala so will all work out in the end.

Kind of ironic with their talk on the hill. She mentioned no one listening to her or understanding her feelings. Well other than that Peke and eventually Rito during the time they first met. Yet at the same time she is completely oblivious on the troubles Rito is having with this situation.

Some pretty funny moments though. Like popping into the change room without any clothes .

Anyways looks like Haruna will start taking steps on her own. Though seems a little late. Guess with a series like this being engaged won't stop Rito from building up a harem of some sort.
