It could be possible. Acceleration maybe useless in most battlefields. But an Urban battlefield, where there social cameras, it would be most useful. That is if they found out about BB.

IT would be awesome for analysis work. Think of how much crap you could get done! Or even for commanding troops - it's like entering the fleet map in Homeworld and pausing the action to get your bearings.

To me this episode deserves a solid '10' for at least Haru finding out Noumi's secret to illegaly logging into the network having his name not appearing in the matching list.

It was like a blow to deflate the latter's ego, if it was just for a brief moment.

Spoiler: I believe this is the generation the Noumi referred to that preceded the Burst Linkers, because the latter appeared once the Neuro Linker technology appeared and was available to the public. However, Noumi's Generation, or should I say his senior generation, had already dove into the Burst World because the Brain Implant Chip technology was the first of its kind to integrate augmented reality before the era of Neuro Linker did. Hence, Noumi and his brethren do not refer themselves as Burst Linkers, and does anyone think that because the predecessor technology was deemed illegal due to problems with brain hijacking and cheating its way to systems that made the government and authorities to ban it and ceased production of it, would had stopped some of its users to continue acquiring and developing future iterations of it? It's clearly the Brain Implant Chip technology continued to survive and develooping further alongside the Neuro Linker once the latter arrived in the current era. The gist is that both parties are in locked situations with impossible way outs except dueling it out for one final time in the Burst World. To Noumi is a matter of eliminating the only real obstacles towards his goal of wiping out the Black King and conquerin Nega Nebolous territory. For Haru is matter of honor and principles to stop Noumi further from doing things his way with Chiyu and the rest of his friends.
