HOLY AWESOMENESS BATMAN!!!

they have revealed my favorite classes in order so far, 1st the elementalist then the warrior and now the ranger, up next has to be the necro

Love the serpent strike move with the throwing knife finisher very very cool, theres the good old barrage that works how you would like and expect to now and the "the force" move is pretty funny but very cool

also like how they are gonna deal with health and death, no death penalty this time which I'll be honest was an annoyance.

man this game looks to be shaping up very well.

Hot. All I gotta say about the Ranger although doesn't seem like the last move fits a Ranger's description. Oh well, I'll still take it.

Guild Wars 2 has so many improvements from Guild Wars that's been discussed that I'm actually gonna get back on my old character on Guild Wars and go through all the things in EotN one last time just to get ready for Guild Wars 2

Gameplay footage (demo) :

Look great . I'm more enjoying the combo skills like if you have an elementalist + rogue , Elementalist use wall of fire and Rogue use his arrow toward the enemy , his arrow will become fire arrow !

The green/red target highlights are a tad distracting, but I could get used to it. An interesting take compared to the usual targeting circle beneath the character.

The UI looks decent, nothing exactly wrong that might cause me troubles. I'm more curious about the various combos that GW2 will introduce.

I played the original GW, but didn't like it much because of its "instanced" design, so I haven't touched it for years.

Then I saw the trailer for this, then the concept art, then the actual art... And now gameplay, plus reading a bit more that you can go solo if you want and just enjoy the lore. I think I've fallen for it. Must buy.

Charr Warrior, here I come!

At this point all I can say about GW2 is

It's just too glorious for words.

And thank the heavens they have kept with the town teleport(altho I figured they would anyway) it was one thing I found just sooooo much better than other MMORPGs.
While I'm all for trekking across the country in search of adventure, I did not like having to travel back and forth between towns, that would get tiresome extremely quickly.
With GW it was simply click on the town and telelport there and then jump straight into the action again.
I only hope more MMORPG take this feature up it saves wasting a great deal of time running around.

Hmm, I wish they improved the combat mechanics of flying enemies. Enemies in the air should stay high up in the air and launch projectiles at you, and only sweep in once in a while for a physical attack. So basically, you'd take cover when they're throwing projectiles at you and shoot back, and go for a heavy melee combo when they sweep in.

relax... this is just the first playable demo they made to show up how it looks and feels like... its not the final product... lots of time and work to do... lets call this "pre-alpha" just like with Diablo 3 demo 1 ago at blizzcon... simply they made it playabe to some degree for the gamescom event... and after that back to work ^^

for now lets wait for an open beta of some kind XD

Now i want to see what they prommessed , you know about the surroundings effect , like if there is a tree behind the mob and then you sent him on the tree , it'll cause a dmg bonus made by the tree something like that

It doesn't have a subscription, and isn't made to be overly grindy, so it won't supplant the already entrenched games. What it will do is happily live alongside other big MMOs, and just get them to buy new expansions.
