Preacher, didn't see the man and son at first, good job. Reminds me of old cartoons where they would do this; don't know why everyone is so edgy now. Seems censorship has brainwashing peoples minds to the point where one rejects a certain pattern, but not others.

I would be more carefull before talking about ''brainwashing by censorship''.
I have more problem with those sig because of the (questionable) use of ''real art'' than the ''attack again christian'' ( given the theme, I was expecting at least one sig falling on this category), but every have something(s) than make them react the wrong way...

Rick & geki~ made it pretty clear the fact it was as they put it "anti-catholic" was their problem. As for this "real art" thing, I really don't want to talk about such categorization. Personally I make no such difference, but I feel art has a different definition depending on the eye of the beholder and I'm fine with that. There's no best way in my book.

@felix, like I said, everyone have something than make them react a wrong way, If it's the ''anti-catholic'' aspect than make them edgy, so be it ( unless you belive than it's not a good reason... ) About the use of well know art, there some way than are better than others especialy being clever and tasty, which I would say than Preacher's sigs aren't managed to make.

We're talking about similar different things. I'm simply against not-allowing them in the contest because of petty reasons such as this; which is what the trend in the discussion seems to be.

For me, he can submit that, but he shouldn't be expecting to get a vote coming from me.

Besides, graphically speaking the sigs look very bad, a graphic must have 3 things, legibility, balance and to be clear at the eyes of the viewer, all the efects, the stains, lighting and the heavy metal-album style kills the first, putting a realistic paint with anime characters kills the second and on the sig we have several characters on scene without any central point of atention wich kills the third. Plus the animated sig and the red sig are eye bleeding images.

How about a 5 px white border set as "soft light" then a 1 px black border? I think it would look good mwith that border style.

I've used to use similar but I feel its better if its a lot more subtle as it grabs too much attention.
