How about some Finnish classic progressive/jazz rock from the 1970s? At least give it four minutes from the start
Well, the Finns can surely do some straight rock 'n' roll too. Some even older rock from 1967! @Above: I don't know. Spandau Ballet just feels too 1980s for me

If you're a fan of the classics, you MUST be familiar with Carpenters. You thought Rush had rich tones with 3 people, but the Carpenters were a duet of siblings. Some of the most iconic songs of all time were created by them, and they've put wonderful spins on other famous tracks as well. They're also quite good at making medleys of all varieties. Unfortunately, Karen Carpenter fell victim to anorexia nervosa and died of a cardiac arrest, but her voice and drumming lives on. Who the hell needs autotune and drum machines when you've got pure talent?
Spoiler for I contained myself:

Although I like some more "soft" bands (The Beatles and a few others), for me it depends on the musicianship, or specifically, the guitar playing.

Not exactly classic rock, but this song by Mr. Billy Joel is just so magnificent. And look at that gleaming stage presence; you just have to love his charisma.
And I wager many of you know of this little classic. Listen to that golden tone.

Man. Getting into Krautrock again. There was so much creativity going around in West Germany in the 70s.
Something more down to earth, but still psychedelic.
