can't be helped, the novels come out even less frequently than the manga. and to think monthly isn't even that often.

In addition the amount of content worth from one novel is probably equal to 20 monthly chapters. Thats impressive for a 3-5 months effort.

But lets face it, the story in Railgun atm is relatively slow compared to the fast paced action of the current New Testament story.

yeah, but railgun is a manga, most of the work comes from drawing (since kamachi seems to churn out ideas at a crazy pace).

it's a pretty normal pace for those used to reading monthly manga. i do want it to speed up though. at this rate it'll take years before it'll even reach 0930.

September 30, aka Vento's attack and Hound Dog's incident if my brain isn't fried yet.

Some spoiler pictures for chapter 48 are out, it looks like people under Misaki's control get those sparkly eyes.

Interesting but, once again, too much teasing about the little plot and Misaki. Oh, that scientist is likeyly to be a Kihara.

If this is a scientist Kihara, I'll start taking this arc much more seriously.

I theorized he was "Junior" because of this:

Spoiler for Toaru Jihanki no Fanfare:

...and considering the guy is the Level 6 Shift supervisor from the looks of it, and the Amata-y face, he is totally related to our dear Kihara-kun.

Just asking out of curiosity, since in theory railgun shows only the side of science, always found it odd he did not appear.

BUT in no chances I think it has something to do with it.

Railgun is way less "serious" about the bigger story.

Honestly, Railgun relies on foregone foreshadowing (Aim Burst foreshadows Aim Angels like Kazakiri Hyouka and elaborates on the concept in relation to a Network of espers, etc) or explaining in detail certain events that are only mentioned and not elaborated on (Mikoto's own struggle against the Level 6 Shift).

I wonder about the future of railgun. I hope that Misaki has a history parallel to the Mikoto, something like Touma / Accelerator.

At least this arc (so far) is pretty original, though who know where it will end.

that guy is too old so that will never be junior. Plus look at the sparkle eyes. A kihara that's been assigned to Misaki which is probably someone connected to Ransuu.
