if i remember correctly Rakuen is pretty much the end all route for the visual novels right? fruit was more traditional with routes and labyrinth was backstory. So the ending is pretty much set at this point right?

Yes. Though there are 2 endings to Rakuen VN I don't think they would animate the bad one

Did Kazuki volunteered to be the Thanos System? How did she get involved with CIRS?

I like the scene with the girls leaving the academy. There's going to be a whole lot of mess come their way. I liked Yumiko's conversation with Robbie. I also liked the girls all have a very serious side.

The five girls all have their specialties if going to the field. Yumiko would be a analyst or one the gathers intel, Amane is the driver (so obvious), Makina is the sniper, Sachi is the infiltration and run diversion and Michiru........I'm not sure.

Well I certainly hope that Kazuki is alive... not just "alive" in the machine, but in flesh also.

There is no reason to think she died, since she used the carrot trick on the corpses: they found "x" bodies in pieces but "x-1" head.

This series getting more and more interesting.
First while I thought that stories wouldn't been too complicate from last week,
likes Yuuji been brainwash or been spy. They give some politics like being bargain instead.

Since most of girls being childish and selfish from last season,
I had thought they would be pretty useless, but this episode had change my mind. (except Baka)
Yumiko being able to track and locate James really surprise me, It make whole girls team look solid.

Yumiko as leader and information gathering
Makina as sniper she already have been teach by Yuuji after all.
Sachi as bomber of cause
Amane not sure but since has miscellaneous skill. (mostly thief) She might be some kind of spy?
Michiru as team mascot? any team in good movie need joke character right? Baka would fill the roll!!

Departed from school scene give this series seriousness,
since it declare this series will not be just common school comedy anime anymore.

And at the end...
Super computer, Human brain experiment, Government observation and Human Hologram.
You need anymore Sci-fi?

They get me really excite, hope they won't disappoint me like Guilty Crown and Aldnoah Zero.
