I like Kinji because he got the guts to offer a ring as a present to Aria, just as a bouquet of flowers to Shirayuki in a Church+some hilarious incidents.

Ooops I was half-asleep writing that, forgot to re-read it. Well I was just saying that in TAMnI, the plot drives the story. Wherein, HnA the characters drive the story.

Introducing another (foil) main character at volume 10 is a bit too late, but not impossible. It's not going to be an easy task integrating that new character into the story, plot, and with the other characters. It will undoubtedly be very awkward to read the story from another character's perspective other than Kinji's at this point like inner thoughts.

In TAMnI, we see many events from the perspectives of different characters whether they are side characters or main protagonists or even the villains. Regardless, us readers can see from their perspective at times.

I agree as well. The way HnA is written is looking at the world using Kini's eyes and adding another male character will kill that view.

Besides that, the pacing itself is very fast compare to TAMnI. It makes me kind of pissed off reading the novel sometimes, the author could skip one month worth of time in one paragraph. It gives me a sense of rush within the novel. I agree that many things happened but cramping 8 month in 10 volume is a little rush for me. Compare to TAMnI, the author give a better pacing for the story and this allows a lot of character to develop.

In regards to pacing, I guess the author might want to end this series within 5 more volume.

However, wouldn't it be more realist to do 8 months? It isn't like we could fit it in 4 months.

And if it'll end in 5-6 volumes, it wouldn't be abnormal, because of this 'a character per novel' thing. And the author wants to use every character he introduced, not like in TAMnI where there are hundreds of characters, but some with limited exposure.

It's not rush at all. 8 months for 10 volume is a fine pacing. If we're talking about pacing Tamni is just tooooooo damn slow or rather kamijou's world is save the world per day and he can't sleep unless he saves the world.

Hna world is fine on it's own but I got to admit I would like if Muto or Shiranui starts to back him up but unless Kinji ask for help they can't move because a butei works alone and if you start diging info's on people you shouldn't be bothered with. Your just endangering your life.

If we only consider the main storyline, Indexverse span a total of 3.5 months over... 25 volumes (Including SS1 since it fits into the timeline)

I don't think either story is actually too fast or too slow because pacing is not determined by how much time passes in-story

However that said, unless the Author for Aria changes his mind, at the rate he's eating up the months, countdown to Kinji seemingly inevitable transfer out of Butei High wouldn't be more than a couple volumes away... The whole thing feels like a Persona story, you know, the one year timelimit ?

That is my point, it will end probably within 5 to 6 more volume. I know every novel needs to end in one way or another but I do hope it will be better eleborated. Maybe it is because Kinji's I don't care character that cause this to happen. I wonder will Kaname cut his legs off by then if he really wants to transfer out of Butei.

I'm actually fine on the nearing end because I want to see how will Kinji decide on continue to be a butei or not. his still in 2nd year. If he continues then their is still third year. Plus the war of bandire with it's never ending fairy tale characters which is really surprising for me. Turns a bit of a turn off for me but just a little and I begun to accept that I shouldn't surprised again on what will show up in Hna world.

That bandire meeting is just.... one whole part meeting >.>

I want a brother tag team again or maybe siblings tag team. With Kana as leader and Kinji and Kaname as wing man. They are all K in name thus KKK

By the way, has Hidan no Aria expanded on the other types of Butei? You know, Medica, Ambulace, Repier, etc. It would be nice if there's someone who's actually backing up for Kinji or his teammates through medical knowledge.

Those other Butei Divisions look like they have been forgotten by the author.

Hilda melding with the shadow and... umm... I dunno.... taking down the enemies using living shadow?

I guess the other division is probably insignificant or the author just don't want to waste brain juice to figure it out. Look at it this way, if they really want to explain the division or how each of them operate, Konayuki's tour at Butei High will not be that boring and everything will be well explained instead of doing the whole tour in a few lines (I guess it probably took 1 pages of the novel). This is kind of sad. I felt that AA manga do a better job at showing the world of HnA than the light novel. We know that assault rifles are all over the place in Assault, AWP is the basic sniper rifle for Snipe, how each building of diffrent division look like, the swimming pool and etc. Maybe this is the intention but I guess the novel would be more fun if it is slightly have more explaination.

For Jeanne, she has feelings for Kinji but she's not actively going for him. The two of them work together quite well and they get along.
