Oh and was it mentioned in vol 9 epilogue that the form of Restia changed? Maybe that's the reason?

yep I mean honestly chapter 7 is turning interesting I mean we know from chap 8 that Lin fan the princess falls for our boy and as of now they're about to team up to save fianna makes u wonder what happens but as for the whole swords appearance thing its a LN not a manga the swords can be what u imagine but don't pout when its not as cool as you think it should be.

He then proceeded to stomp a rhythm up and down her backside with out even being aware it happened. Finally, Fianna and Scarlet woke up Claire, who did the kiss with Kamito. He dual-wields Restia and Est and again smacks Rubia around like volleyball. She gets desperate and fires her best attack at him, which he absorbs and fires back in her face, destroying Laevantiin.

Actually there's one thing that I'm not 100% about. Did she really think she could defeat the dark lord or even bring him under her control? If he's really meant to defeat the other elemental lords which she can't do on her best day and on their worst, why did she think she could beat him?

I think shes making use of Kamito as a Gambit for the Alphas Empire should her plan succeed I mean was it already explained why Grayworth seems like preparing the Academy for war? but I'm sure her plan won't really succeed but we do know who's plan will... I mean shes called the "Legal Wife" after all but before all that we do know that Kamito wants his b-Est mistress to be cleansed of her sins and guilt to be a proper weapon for him
