Supposedly Yukina and Sayaka were also assigned to get close to Kojou to be his "mates" and produce heirs with him. Relieving Yukina's duties of being his observer would be an obstacle towards that end.

Maybe. It could be a ploy to get Kojou to bring her back outside of her observer position.

So Kojou wakes up bandaged in some hospital room and Shizuri is sleeping face down on the bedside.

Kojou wonders what happened and Yuno walks in explaining that he was ripped to pieces and then Shizuri defeated that Shikigami. She said "As expected of the world's strongest vampire to survive that......although you were dead just a while ago"

Yuno is quite a cheerful girl and seems to be able to transform between human and demi-human forms. On that training, she wore revealing clothes that are easy to move when fighting, but now she wore normal school uniform and her kemonomimi was gone as well.

So Kojou wonders how she defeated it alone, then Rui walks in (he also changed from practice clothes to normal ones but his impression didn't change much aside from the glasses that made him look even more of a honor student)

He explains that Shizuri used Sacrament Weapon "Flame Eating Serpent"(Haurasu/Howlass(?)) but since it was a practice, she wasn't authorized to use it and because of that, they have to re-take the exam and also write lots of apology and other letters by the end of the day. Rui carried pack of letters when he came in, so he himself wrote them.
(So...Kojou's "Heroic" performance ruined everything in the end...)

Kojou apologies that it was all his fault.

Rui tells him it couldn't be helped that he couldn't use kenju. although they wanted to witness the fourth primogenitor's kenjuu.

So, it seems it's been about half a year since Kojou and they teamed up and he one-sidedly kept troubling them.

So, despite acting cold to Kojou, it seems Shizuri still attended him while he was out cold. (she was listening to their conversation while half-asleep and complained about how Kojou calls her (calls her Kasuko), saying she had to gather his torn body and stuff. calls him Incompetent vampire XD
Kojou says it's easier to say than Kasugaya or Castella.
She yells at his face that it's "C.a.s.t.i.e.l.l.a."
Along with her cute features she's like a cute pet animal
In the end she tells him that if it's so hard to say, then he should just call her Shizuri.

Yuno comments that Kojou's appearance was so fucked up that she lost her appetite.

So Kojou got hungry and they decided to hit the school cafeteria since it was already 7am.

Kojou stretched and removed the blanket covering him....and he was butt-naked.

Yuno went "Wow" and stared at his D with interesting eyes. Shizuri froze. and then screamed and reflexively hit him in "defenseless" part...and then both of them started screaming for different reasons.

I read through the majority of comments here and i'm incredibly confused what is the timeline here?? is this v16?? how did he lose his memories?? and is Yukina and the girls trying to find him??

I'm not sure of the translation but the Lion King Organization is under pressure of the japanese gouvernment which is worried about the new authority of Kojou in Itogami Island and the risk of independence of the city.

Anime S2 covered up to V12. That summary was from V16. There was a boss fight in V15.

Mhm, a possible Reina return. Sure, why not. But you are right, it does sound familiar. I'm not sure though or better, I can't remember. Was the breaking of the Schneewalzer in the Anime something that happen in the SS too or was that Anime only just like the dragon (which seems more likely).

From what I remember in the short story she just popped up, and mention things about characters like headphone guy going bold in the future. Then goes back to the future and talks to her sister while mentioning the akatsuki empire. The spear and dragon were just anime original.

I think we must see the short story and the two last episodes of the anime as a foreigner element to the novel. It never happened for the author.

It was yeah, from STB EX: Yukina Before/After. That ss was even completely translated here quite long ago. (I guess it might still be around if one searched well enough) In any case, that one has nothing to do with this fake Yukina in question as far as I can tell.　Then again, I still have to finish V16 so not really sure what is it about. Gotta thank the author for killing my motivation with first chapter....*sigh*

At least read the final chapter. The "fake" yukina and her sister from the anime make an appearance along with a new weapon. I think the author might be finally merging those 2 works.
