It's nice for a begin, but I will advice you to use less blur.

The face is good, I can't see any major errors, the shading is nice, but it's too blurry. It hurts my eyes.

Try to make your art sharper, then you'll be fine.

I'll second Shinobu's opinion. It hurts my eyes. Try to give it SOME defining lines.

Also, was your's the post that had the fellow with blue hair you did on MS Paint?

If so, then WOW! What a difference!

As far as MS Paint goes, it works best if you scan in the general outline of the subject, switch it to duotone (Or monochrome, I think that's the term that Paint uses), and then reinforce your lines and clean them up, and then finally add shading.

However, since you obviously have access to more advanced programs, use them instead.

Agreed. Defining lines would be a good help. It'll keep ones eyes from hurting looking at it. Otherwise, it looks good.

Other that the already mentioned, I think the left eye looks a little off-center. I don't know how to exactly explain it, but it looks weird.

Yea it looks good but way to blurry. Definatly define stuff a bit more.

Thanks you guys, that paint pic is kinda crap though I just wipped that up just to see what I can do on it I think I'll use that for a while and try to get it to look like Photoshop ( that is probly nevr gonna happen) or some were close. what programs do you guys use???
