After first episode devoted to awesome and second devoted to wacky antics this time the expostion and plot points had the spotlight, very interesting stuff. Also liked how all three groups seen so far (Scepter 4, Homra, Shiro's "team") got a fair amount of screentime. Oh, and Saruhiko (former Homra) has an amazing theme music.

Next week: Neko goes to school, yay. And more Kukuri, who took a break this episode.

I'll be honest, I'm not as interested in the MC, Neko and the sword guy as much as I am about the clans, specifically the feud going on between the Red and Blue King. So starting the episode off with their plot was very nice. Its also good to find out just why exactly Kuro was trying to kill him, although it was kinda pointless, at least he did see it makes sense to give it time and give a proper evaluation.

I'm guessing Kuroh has all his questions answered just by pressing the recording machine. Let's imagine how this will turn out in a little dilemma:

So it is about clan based warfare manly between the Blues and the Reds... with the Colorless in the middle.

Is it me or lately media has been making fun out of the Japanses PM?

Well this show's really starting to grow on me....may even end up my favorite this season.

Was that dancing guy Weissman? Seeing how his name is used to describe the amount of power the Kings contain I won't be surprised if he was the originator of the powers and their system or at least someone fundamental to their development and use.

Yeah, it's Weissman. Pretty sure he's the originator - he's the First King, after all (with the Golden King being the second). This episode pretty much confirms that he has some kind of link with Shiro (and the dancing cat-lady may have something to do with Neko? Maybe Weissman and cat-lady are Shiro and Neko from the future or something? Or they are Shiro and Neko's parents?). I really really hope he doesn't turn out to be the villain or something. Having all these battles going on and everyone suddenly working together to defeat the main evil villain and then living happily ever after would be so painfully cliche.

Also, I wonder if Saruhiko really killed all those Homura members in the warehouse, or merely knocked them out. Their cries seem like death cries to me, even though their bodies didn't have any external wounds. If they're dead, it's a shame... Akagi, Bandou and the rest really grew on me thanks to Memory of Red.

What Saruhiko did to them....well it's ambiguous but if they live, you should see them again.

On that note, what if Saruhiko turns out to be the real last boss....the guy waiting to make a power grab all along

If he continues to draw power from the tablet, his Sword of Damocles will fall. When that happens, things go boom, like that crater in the pic. This also means a king in the past had let his Sword of Damocles fell. I now have a theory that Tatara might actually be Mikoto's successor in the case if Mikoto ever reaches his limit. And the reason why Mikoto stubbornly refusing to resign from King's post is because he no longer has a successor. Last edited by shmaster; 2012-10-19 at 01:47.
