Browser error

I am using IE8 as of now and this browser cant seem to load some videos from a certain site. It is displayed as a blank white window with a small icon at the top left of the window. When i use another browser (Google Chrome), it is able to load the video with any problems.

Can anyone help?

Since that's RC1, it means that browser is far from okay: there will be issues with certain plugins, especially with video, Silverlight and Flash.

Try to revert to "compatibility view" (IE7-style) if that'll work.

Expect problems with anything related to flash when it comes to pre-production builds (wathever the browser). Its normal, you can switch browser, do as number 547 said or just simply forget about them and wait for the official final release. Re-Installing flash may also solve your problem.

Yeah, go back to IE7. But you really should use Firefox.

Thanks for the suggestions. Pity reverting the compatability did not work. Seems like i will be with Google Chrome for awhile. Anyways, the problem i encountered, it only did not work for that certain video. Other videos from the site can work. I tested the non-working video on another computer and it works though.

Any further help/suggestions will be deeply appreciated.
Note: can i downgrade my IE?

For a weird reason, my Firefox cant seem to start up and i do not know why either. =/

Cheers

1.) I think downgrading IE back to 7 is near-impossible because IE8 replaced most of the system files used by IE7.
2.) Have you tried to uninstall Firefox, and then reinstall? Or used Opera?

You can uninstall 8 and then install 7.

I tried reverting to IE7 but sadly it did not help. I will stick with Google Chrome for now as my main browser i guess... Thanks for all the help you all have given.

Its probably the Flash. Well, at least it works with one browser, lol.
