PSN:- RoriconYarou. If anyone is interested.

But I don't profess to be a very good fighter here. (Been practising with Rachel, to go with my PSN identity's namesake, all of the last evening.)

Yeah, one of the main reasons I bought a PS3 right there. Why they even bother with regions in this day and age is a mystery to me.

Market shares, control and profit. Evulz companies.

I would want a PS3 for this (and a few other games) since I don't have Live, but it felt a bit unnecessary when I got a 360 and my budget is trained >.>;

Another reason why to get BlazBlue on the PS3 :-

BlazBlue Gets PSP Support Via Remote Play

Quote:
Thanks to Sony's Remote Play technology, PlayStation 3 owners will be able to play Arc System Works and Aksys Games' BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger on their PSPs. Which is awesome.

The high-res 2D fighter joins a short list of PS3 titles that support Remote Play, allowing PSP owners a chance to play the game almost anywhere, even if they're away from their home consoles. BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger was just released in Japan—and you can see footage of the game's Remote Play function in action at Gamersyde—with the North American version due to ship next week.

We quickly double checked with publisher Aksys Games who confirmed that the domestic version of the game will also support PSP Remote Play.

zzz... all i have to say is Game spot better have the art book or i'm switching all my business to amazon. (guess the demand is a surprise but i'll be pissed if the Back Ordered crap they have listed with it occurs, considering i put my pre-order in months ago.)

Those excuses only work when you have exclusives though. Right now it's like saying "Sure Sony, you can have the European market." since any game store worth their salt will have the PS3 version right between the other games.

I was originally going to get it for the 360, but after they announced that US version wasn't going to be region free anymore I have no choice left than to get it for PS3, although IF the game will ever be out in europe I'll get the 360 version as well since the local fighting game scene here revolves mostly around the 360.

Seems like I misunderstood a lot. I thought it was released in Europe too on the 30th. Well damn, that's a backlash.

I can't wait for this game, however I'll be getting the Xbox 360 version since that is what my hori stick is for.

I'm curious of the community's take on the BlazBlue character DLC. Do you like the idea of the characters being available for purchase for those who don't want to unlock them normally? Does the idea bother you? Are you indifferent? Is it something you would take advantage of and spend your money on?

I don't like the idea of paying for it at all, but if a person does not/can not unlock a character, I guess dropping money for it would be an alternative.
I personally would be fine with not unlocking all the characters. i.e. Darth Vader in SCIV and Akuma in SFIV.

Well I could care less if its an option for someone who cannot unlock a character. For me I'd rather not use my cash for something such as unlocking a character. I think people should at least give an honest try at unlocking a character before using money that could be spent elsewhere.

Since I'm buying the PS3 version, it's pretty much impossible for me to download from the lovely European store at all, so this doesn't really affect me much.
