Break/pole dancing aren't really what you can easily learn from the Internet. Both are easy to learn in Japan due to various places that teach them, so it's not really something special.
I doubt there are any pink districts in Academy City. There would be girls selling themselves, but a designated area? Most likely not..... Most likely not, since District 10 (overrun by Skill Out) and 19 (in decline) might be places where those things might happen systematically. |

I had the impression that breakdancing was more freestyle. Once the basic movements are learnt, (and that shouldn't be so hard, since breakdancing and capoeira have similar movements), you take it in your own direction.

There's also a mention of people using the private salons on District 3 for dubious purposes, and District 10 probably had a lot of it before Komaba (and maybe after him.) But the thing is, it's all underground and on the move, so it happens all over the place (though hidden) rather than at a specific location. Well, that's how I understand it anyway.

As for 'pink' districts... AFAIK Skill-Out's leader that Accel killed off had a standing order of banning Skill-Out making money from prostitution, and Hattori who took on the leader role probably left it on considering his personality. It probably won't be that big a issue compared to say some real-life slums/cities. |

Maria: "Just so you know, I'd also incorporate pole dancing into my fighting style "
Touma: "That's good, I heard from Fukiyose that some girls use pole dancing as a form of exercise." Maria: "..." Touma: "What?" Maria: "Nothing... It's just that... Even though I know what kind of person you are, to hear you say that is still a critical hit to my pride...>.>" Touma: " ?"

Definitely Hamazura would give the most normal response... others might say:
Accelerator: "Uh? Why should I care?" Aqua: "..." Tsuchimikado: "I wonder if Maika can do that too" Gunha: "You have GUTS!" Aogami: "Yes, a maid dancer is fine too" |

I messed up on that ボ and ポ part. Got to thank Sumeragi for pointing that out.
Shouldn't Aogami be jumping for joy? Anyway, the girls are not going to let Maria get her way. Just add Seria to the picture. You know a lot of people here are lolicons when they're (at least) swooning over someone who's most likely younger than Index/Mikoto...and knows pole dance...

Objection. She's more likely to be older than at least Mikoto, given that assuming Maika's lace cuffs indicates an advanced level, it's likely that someone of Maria's skills and supposedly same level as Maika would indicate she's 14~15.

...No really, I was under the impression that she was a highschooler, I mean Seria should be 17-18 since she's Touma's sempai, so give or take 2-3 years difference. And for the record, I wasn't swooning. I never swoon.
