Just finished watching it (Wakanim's simulcast is useful for this one, subs ahead of everyone ).
Things are finally starting to happen, the mystery is revealing itself. It's not gonna be as boring from now on . Spoiler for episode 5 -:
On another note, could be cool to rename the S;G forum as "Science;Adventure Trilogy" *Yup, just dropping an hint/idea for the staff * Last edited by Algent; 2012-11-08 at 16:36. |

Interesting episode. Fun seeing Aki putting on the glasses to hide her embarassment(I like her a lot xD), and lol, the group isn't even close to being truly "together" yet and there's already an conspiracy theory revolving around Jaxa.
Hoping to see Frau again soon. Anyway, cool stuff and nice cliffhanger as well! Looking foward to next week. |

Good episode. Not enough Aki though.
They're really stringing us along - showing the backstory behind all the strange things that happened, bit by bit. Can't wait for the next episode. God I hate cliffhangers... Edit: Also, found this image that some of you might like. Forgive me if this has been already posted: Last edited by jte742; 2012-11-09 at 01:03. |

Aaaand...here we go! Lol. Kai is pretty fearless. The AI is a nice character, and her discovery was great. With all the talk of attempted contact, I started thinking of aliens, but apparently not. Daitoku was well done: just mousy enough, not too much. The Subaru comic relief I could have done without, and the whole interview thing. But I agree: not enough Aki (i.e., Nanjou Yoshino). And not enough Frau. Nice cliffhanger to find out who the guy was (her deceased boyfriend?).
I'm certainly glad to get a bit more detail on why Japan is seeing the aurora, though how the monopoles work into it I'm not sure: maybe having enough of them around would tear the sun apart somehow? I'm not sure if there is any real science here, or just magic words. To be honest, I think this meme of research organizations having hidden agendas is both wrong and bad for our culture. But it sure is fun. Images pic of Nanjou Yoshino (Aki's seiyuu) from a live event last week Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

Strange episode. I wonder how all of these facts we are shown are tied together.
It seems like there's really a lot going on around these apparently average characters living in a god-forsaken island. The drugstore lady, for example, who the hell is she exactly? Anyway in the first episode it was hinted that the robot club will try to save the world using gunvarell, now we learn that the world is being threatened by solar flares. How exactly a giant robot is supposed to help with that? The plot thickens...

Or maybe just wait for a BD-BOX (2012.11.21 is the date of release) and watch this piece of adaptation decay. |

R;N 05 - Big Shooter, Faster Than The Wind! Build Up!
So Airi's story begins in 2008. I'm sure it's no coincidence that's the year Chaos;Head was released, and the year it took place most likely. Everyone's been so focused on Steins;Gate, that I feel the first entry in the series is kinda being overlooked. Its anime adaptation wasn't quite as polished, but it's still an entry in the series, and its main mystery phrase was the first thing Airi said upon entry. I do like seeing Junna getting more screentime, mostly because of her voice actress, and I wonder what it's going to take to get her to join the robot club. She seems pretty hesitant about doing so. One of my favorite parts of the episode was the banter between Akiho and Mr. Pleiades. When you get two people with their energy and quirks in a room, something is bound to happen. If they worked together on something, they'd be near unstoppable! Having some of the mysteries of the world get revealed is pretty cool. Time travel mishaps are easy to stop when you have direct control of a time machine, but the sun? Unless GunBuild-1 can find a Pilder, I think this one may require a bit more of a miracle. But making miracles from science is what this is all about. |

Ghost in a machine.
Kaito certainly got interested in it. So he ditched club activities to go ghost hunting. His Airi ghost girl turned out to be Sister Centipede. Secret files and Kimijima Report.... smells like danger. Looks like Kai stumbled into something very interesting.

I know NASA was mentioned, but this whole sinister cover up has CERN written all over it. Since it's already confirmed Nae will turn up at some point, I reckon CERN is going to end up having a big role in this.
