Damn, Livebearer was beaten off-screen..... I would have at least liked to see some sort of fight, even if it was a OHKO from Coco.

Oh well, then. Looks like the storyline's almost at an end. I wonder where our creepy chef friend is hiding the garlic? Is it really only available in his memories....?

With LB KO'd, I have absolutely no idea :P They've never lost an ingredient though, but I can bet you my crispy sugar cookies that Komatsu will be the one to find it.

Coco beating Livebearer off-screen is pretty

. I was expected at least a little bit of fight out of him. Ah well, this chapter was still pretty damn good. Totally pulled a Death Note on us with that hardcore explanation from Coco.

Oh boy after making so many grotesque faces I can't believe Livebearer turned out to be someone easy to beat. I totally expected he was going to give Toriko's team a hard time but whatever I'm glad he was owned by Coco rather than Toriko. So Poison Potato is compatible with Toriko's gourment cells and now he leveled up. I wonder if Meteor Garlic also going to make his cells evolve too. Maybe its compatible with Coco, not Toriko. In short that was really good chapter. I love Coco and his cool attitue.

Damn Tina and her pigeon companion is so cute. I wish she was also in the manga too. If I'm not wrong she made a cameo appearance in manga. I wonder what chapter was it. Anyways what I'm trying to say is its nice to see cute girl character in the anime since manga is full of manly and masculine male characters :3

I kind of wish they just gave Rin more of a presence instead of adding Tina tbh.

^Yeah, I agree. I never really cared for Tina (find her rather boring, actually....). And besides, there's also Melk II to give the series more of a female presence, anyhow (she's even one of the most popular characters, according to that poll from a few months back).

Maybe that's how he'll become strong enough to survive in the Gourmet World.....

Livebearer, still under the effect of knocking remain there to watch him. He think of himself in the past while watching how hard Komatsu is working like an idiot. Then the effect of the knocking wear off, as Coco predicted, decide to help Komatsu in cooking the meteor garlic as he seems to be stuck. The bring the garlic into the top floor and it proceed to become a giant firework and only small piece of it remain. Everyone get power boost but coco one is stupidly insane lol. Komatsu then suggest that poison potato will taste VERY good with meteor garlic but his still is not good enough to remove all the poison. Livebearer then reveal that he know who can remove all the poison AND know the secret to "Atom", suppose to be another dark chef.

Still, I found it amusing how he looked ready to rape poor Komatsu at one point. Anyway, from what I can make out, the dark chef Livebearer mentions at the end of the chapter is some dude named "Joa" and he's from the Jidar kingdom. Definitely interesting to find out that he knows the secret of a part of Acacia's full course menu. Still, if our creepy chef friend from this past arc was any indication, I very much doubt that Toriko and co. will be able to obtain such valuable info from Joa so easily.....

I still find it a little odd for Livebearer to turn over a new leaf so soon after his defeat, but oh well. There's still a chance that he'll be captured by the bishokukai, like I mentioned before (who may tempt him to return to his dark ways....). BTW, I found it amusing how even as a kid Livebearer still looked creepy as hell. Anyways, I have a feeling that Coco will add the garlic to his full course menu, since he said that it was the most compatible with his gourmet cells. As for the upcoming encounter with Joa, I wonder if Toriko will team up with any of the other characters from the Century Soup arc (Takimaru, Teppei)....?

Komatsu became a mini-Toriko, Livebearer became a mountain, and Coco turned into a wall of meat Anyways, the effect's temporary so I trust it's all in good fun (drawing so many muscles is extra work too ). So, next target is the chef of the king of Jidar kingdom...isn't that the guy with the salmon/woolstar sauce from the anime?

It looks like he's facing off against ALL of the strongest chef bosses, which also includes: The Bishokukai boss himself, Midora..... Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go change my pants.
