You can turn off the shield if you wish. Also yeah, it's Tatenashi during her 1st year and also how she became Student Council President through the eyes of another girl named Mao...there's a reason she doesn't get to 2nd year.

Hence why in my Fanon the shield is MANUALLY activated, while absolute defense only active when there's clear threat the armor and shield can't handle.

I'm not sure whether the canon version are manual or automatic, but probably they're only activated when there's danger, hence the selective nature.

@ Senpai - Did you make adjustments to Kanzashi's unit?

I always thought shields were like the ones in armored core. They're always active but in some sort of sleep mode. When an object is approaching at high enough velocities to be deemed a threat, the shield auto activates by compressing the charged particles/increases the charge density enough to form a shield to block the oncoming attack. If this theory holds, an IS that's currently taking an attack from the front can't take an attack from another side... huh

Blitz already designed an unit for her, I suppose we can introduce her canon unit earlier. It's still based on Uchigane (in my fanon, Mysterious Lady too ) just that the details is different.

Intoxication so dangerous the kid can go straight to hospital? Their internal organs are quite fragile.

Yes, she did, the first one actually. The second one is refined version of the unit handled by the corporation, when they saw how her custom-made unit is beyond their expectation.

Still dangerous, though probably not as fatal.

Well, in ST, all the project is held around the same time (as seen in chapter 9, the three unit undergo examination, upgrade and testing at the same time, that is, ByakuShiki, Uchigane, and Kurogane). True that they made ByakuShiki first, but in the same context, there's also... problems in the Kanzashi's unit design phase, she solved it by ditched a lot of unused features in her own design.

It is almost impossible for kid to get drunk because once again, their internal organ fails before their brain do.

Kanzashi sounds better as an engineer than a pilot. She seems to be good in designing.

Side note - Does Laura have immunity to drunkenness in your fic?

I might need to check about Canon, but in mine, she's as good as any I.S. rep at their respective roles, Kanzashi is better in support role than in a direct combat. (Similar to Yuzu)

Yes, she did. She is supposed to be immune, or at least resistant to poison.

After thinking a while....... I just realized something....

Osen scene should not to be taken lightly.... It is an important establish character moment.

It can tell people a lot about the Male characters (the Who you are in the Dark kind of test)

Osen Test is the best way to find out what kind of character the male OC is.

Osen test proposed Scenario:

Imagine Open-Osen that is a few metre away from the Inn...since it is osen, the girls are obviously naked, what will your male character do?

Some important Notes:
-The Girls are armed and dangerous
-There are many traps and obstacles in your way.
-The character's superior has warned the character about serious consequences for peeking at girls.
-Characters' friends are all going to peek at girls no matter the cost....

Edit: Just in case it is unclear:

For example:
A guy don't go and peek at girls:
>Probably fear of punishment
>High Moral Standard
> Fear of his own life
> Fear of Superior
> A Loner

A guy who go to peek at girls with friends:
> A guy who value friendship
> Determinator
> Weak against peer pressure
> A certain disrespect to authoritative figure
> Foolhardy
> Pervert (obviously)

Well, not until the mass oh crap that is Uchigane Custom owning basic units like a mother, partly Kanzashi's pilot skill, partly the surprisingly high spec of the unit.

Anyway, was it stated that they should partner with a classmate, or is student for another class is allowed?
