good! Maka was slow last chapter cuz she wasn't serious and this is an established pattern from her (shifting from looking helpless to badass when she has to) so that's nothing new either.

I wasn't able to take Gopher seriously at all previously, so not too surprised he turned out like he did. And now we know Noah made the guy I expect even less from him (except way moah tantrums!)
I don't expect that much from Noah because everything about him is made of fail from the get go. He stole someone else's powers (and name!) and has only gotten to where he is because of it. That doesn't suggest a villain who is very strong in his own right and is probably why he's holed up instead of doing his dirty work himself. He's got some bad stuff up his sleeve but he's still empty inside (if that makes sense).

Spoiler for Noah:

Well you can't really say Noah is cheap. Consider that Eibon was considered one of the greatest mages of his time if not the greatest. For Noah to be able to replicate his powers to the extent in which he does and use that knowledge to completely dominate Arachne's strongest follower must mean he has quite a lot of power of his own. Don't forget also that we've only seen Noah fight once, and he referred to himself as a collector. By definition of the name, I highly doubt the book of Eibon is the only thing that Noah has. That wouldn't make it much of a collection imho since it's just one object.

Oh man. Noah got his ass handed to him. The fight was pretty good too, good to see Maka kicking ass again. And next chapter should be good too.. Medusa and Chrona return.

Oh god, Gopher made the most epic :< faces ever. I love him so much right now. Even if he is a total shota, I mean he Noah-gasm'd giant heat seeking blasts of energy out of his stomach for Noah's sake. Also "I WANNA BE INSIDE YOUR COLLECTION" didn't help much against it either.

But all of that "The body you created for me," stuff really has me believing the speculation that Gopher might just be a transformed worm.

Next chapter should be good too, so many things can happen, but it's unpredictable right now I guess. :D

Also, really off-topic and I'm sorry and I know that it has been already discussed, but, it's actually true the existence of a third Gorgon sister? or it is just a rumor among fans due to the mytholgy?

She did take some hits last chapter. Besides Gopher's not exactly top tier, Noah himself pointed that out.

I don't think a third sister has been specifically mentioned, so right now it's just an assumption.

The broken heart scene was epic. I'll never forget that part as it made my day! Gopher's expression was absolutely priceless just then. Can't wait to see more of Chrona and Medusa =D

I think her witch hunter and demon hunter are more accessible to her now because of her Death Scythe upgrade. People really shouldn't be surprised at how easily she was able to beat Gopher. Demon Hunter was the move that defeated Arachne after all, and Noah himself confirmed that Gopher is low tier. I doubt he would even be much use against Arachne back in the day.
