That aside, yes, I want to make Louise gray than outright black. Dunno, I haven't ask blitz as of yet. (considering his usual shtick, he should have much darker concept than this)

I don't really know... I consider her an ideal, and I don't do ideals very well besides copying them stock.

Like for example, Erika is depicted to be a yandere, but more on the level of how Dark Sakura is used for comic effect in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. Furthermore, her man does not exist on campus, so everyone sees her as normal.

@ Zero & Valiant: Third person, like Zero said, is for more detail, and allows for more situational awareness.

First person, however, should only be attempted if you have a good grasp on what kind of character the POV is focused with. You can shed more light (even if said light may be biased) on a character's opinion on the world and the other characters who inhabit it, and provide more of a reaction to situations and those involved in them.

Then again, it's your choice. I might be biased since I'm a FPOV writer.

Mmmm, Nii-nii used to write it in third person, but after Sacred Twins he was convinced that indeed it's easier to grasp the character in first person

EDIT: That aside seems like nobody did a Christmas fic in the end, hard to concentrate if you have a deadline that short, and like Meister said, feels like rushed and forced if you didn't get the mood right.

Hmm, I saw it. Cecilia's crippling weakness indeed there, despite she's more experienced and technically better pilot (though Tsurugi figured it faster than Ichika does). Overall, nice draft.

StratoSpear Titans Test Team Pilot Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: The Elysium	Not sure if you've seen it Zero, but I've posted another scene as such: Spoiler for Scene: ========== On an open field ========== “Firing!” Cecilia declares then fires several shots from her Blue Pierce sniper rifle at Tsurugi, who’s running towards her in the Minerva Kai with the Akari heat blade at hand. “Erh…!” Tsurugi jumps from side to side, dodging most of the incoming shots while deflecting others with the Akari blade. ‘That’s right… I can time my movements better with the Minerva…!’ Firing a powerful thrust, Tsurugi leaps above and sets her sights straight onto Cecilia. She lifts up the Akari blade as it hums loud, glowing in intense bright orange light. ‘She can’t fire the rifle at this range…!’ She swings the blade down towards Cecilia who manages to narrowly avoid the strike by boosting away to keep Tsurugi within her firing range. “Tch…!” “You won’t hit me with such approaches!” “Understood!” She then hops away, dodging another round of shots from Cecilia while swerving around, attempting to approach her from another angle. ‘What is she doing…? She’s presenting herself as a vulnerable target with such maneuver…’ Aiming the Blue Pierce, Cecilia aims ahead of the Minerva Kai. Just as she was about to pull the trigger, Tsurugi drastically switches direction by abruptly boosting in the opposite direction which throws off Cecilia’s aim. Without a moment to spare, she initiates Overboost and darts directly towards Cecilia. While trying to recover her aiming, she manages to fire a shot but Tsurugi instinctively avoids it as she jumps into melee range, kicking the rifle away then grabs hold of one of Cecilia’s arms. “Damn it…!” “Got you!” Tsurugi exclaims as she pulls Cecilia towards her and holds the Akari blade several inches away from her neck. A short silence follows as Tsurugi then releases Cecilia and brings down the blade. “Not bad at all, Tsurugi.” “Well, it was a handicap match… I wasn’t really able to perform to my greatest potential.” “It’s fine. I’m quite impressed by your skills… not to mention that you’re already handling the Minerva so well.” “True that.” Inami agrees as he approaches the girls. “Ina-kun…” Tsurugi then dismounts from the Minerva Kai while Cecilia reverts the Blue Tears into Closed form. “The handicap is necessary since Cecilia-chan mentioned that the instructor would most likely be facing you with an Uchigane as well.” “And they only have the katana as their one and only weapon.” “I see… It’s a matter of who disarms who first.” “Quite so, Tsu-chan.” “In any case, Tsurugi. While you may not be able to pilot the IS until the enrollment exams, allow me to show you their interfaces.” “Interfaces?” “The controls and all the other systems, it should help you to familiarize yourself for when you eventually use an IS.” “All right then…” Inami then places his arm across Tsurugi’s back and holds her shoulder, prompting her to turn her head towards him. “Don’t worry, you can do this!” She briefly looks into his eyes, uncertain as to whether she will really pull through the enrollment exams while Cecilia walks up next to her and taps her arm. Tsurugi then looks at Cecilia, who then nods, agreeing with Inami’s words. “I really can’t thank both of you enough…” Tsurugi says and smiles at them. Evening slowly sets in as the sun descends towards the horizon. Tsurugi then holds up her forearm to look at her watch. “Six-Fifteen…” “Well I guess we’ll have that lesson tomorrow then, let’s head back home.” “I can show her the interfaces at home… and it won’t take that long to familiarize, trust me.” “I don’t mind that… but I’ll leave the choice to Tsu-chan.” Tsurugi then looks at him with a blank expression, thinking as to whether she wants to proceed with the lesson at home or otherwise. “If you’re not in a hurry to return to the Academy… I’m fine with that.” She decides. “Then it’s settled. Come on.” Inami suits up in the Minerva Kai while Cecilia deploys the Blue Tears and moves to pick up Tsurugi. Nodding at each other, Inami then flies off followed by Cecilia while holding Tsurugi in her arms as the trio returns to her house. More training stuffs.
