Strange, I go to /m/ as well and I didn't see that joke in any of the Build Fighters threads. Kind of weird they went with Big Zams and not something like a death match between Vigna Ghina and Physalis Gundam.

Loved this fight, definitely reminded me of Athrun vs Kira in GSD and Setsuna vs Ribbons in 00, kind of got my hopes up that they'd have an "open cockpit fight" like in GSD and 00. This series just keeps getting better and better, sure it's marketed for kids but they haven't forgotten about the older Gundam fans either; it's definitely bringing back the feeling of excitement that I got when I first started watching Gundam way back when. xD

Nah, its not fitting if they progress to fight Yuuki again with a different mobi......I mean Gunpla, it has to be the Build Strike (its special, Sei's mom commented on the build quality/soul being akin to his father's gunpla, as well as it being part of the reason why Yuuki was interested in them)





Episode Review:

This Episode gave us 3 big things:

1. A battle fest episode with little to none references/fan service. The fight with Sazaki was good (but still quite one sided) and the battle with Yuuki was pure awesome and downright brutal (poor Build Strike lol, got completely totalled)

2. Ral VERY CLEARLY more or less explained why this show is so good/so much fun, and it described the hobby I love quite well

3. Build MK. II debut!


Other things of note:
1. GN-X :3
2. Hooray for Finland champion debut! (VA too)
3. Sei's mom watching them xD
4. A preview that has everyone dying for next week lol


Not much to say overall, but the episode did extremely well


My first 10/10 for this series, keep it up Sunrise!

I get the feeling that Bandai is focusing on Gunpla expansions of "first character MS" rather than the upgraded MS in the show.

That's why all the major characters have variations of: Strike, Gundam MK-II, Wing, GX, Zaku, Astray Red Frame.

They haven't done Freedom, Zeta, Wing Zero, Double X, Sazabi, and Red Frame Kai. I think they are going to keep it that way to help promote the "first MS" a bit more.

Good episode but it is still taking me to much disbelief to believe a zaku can beat a gundam at that a gundam from seed at that useing slow shell based weaponry. I get the whole kit things but can we at least get the zaku amazing some darn beam weapons.

Also where are the mobile suits from g ,victory and unicorn .

When watching this show you really need to throw away the tech and show differences, because here, skill is all that matters, in both building and piloting

And how is it hard to find it hard to believe that a Zaku can beat a Gundam? Zakus rule, especially the custom ones

He mean Strike have Phase Shift = all physical attack = useless against it
( Strike without it's pack got direct hit in episode two without even getting a scratch...)
But even Justice lose to physical attack

So I guess they don't use 100% of Seed technology
(Or it could be unfair to other MS // same think in games like Gundam VS Gundam or Gundam Extreme VS)
