Yeah, I am REALLY into Faust right now, and into anything that has something to do with "dealing with the devil" or a devil like something.

I've already seen Madoka Magica, which is sort of like both of the elements perfectly combined as well as:

Saya no Uta (I've heard many people compare this to Faust in addition to Lovecraft)
Mirai Nikki (dealing with the devil in a way)
Hell Girl
Umineko no Naku Koro Ni

Can I have a few more suggestions? Books, anime, games, anything is appreciated.

EDIT: I would REALLY appreciate visual novels most, but anime is a close second.

The currently airing C kind of fits I think.

Kuroshitsuji if you don't mind mild BL.

Mushi-Uta can kind of fit, but it was too short and shallow to be memorable.

hmm...can't think of anything right now.

OH! Narutaru (Mukuro Naru Hoshi, Tama Taru Ko, or Dark Star).

Yeah, Narutaru pretty much fits the bill here. You know how Madoka's got Faust in your magical girls? Well, Narutaru's got Faust in your Mons.

I also recommend C, but perhaps the best example would be Death Note.

It's also one of the stories in Bakemonogatari.

I'd second Death Note, and for Bakemonogatari won't the third story also sorta of fit?

So basicly you want to have actual demon, not like in Inuyahsa?

Hmmm... Ao no Exorcist has Satan in it, series are ongoing.

I think Baccano had some devil involvement.

There's quite a faustian deal there, the devil involved isn't evil, but the "deal" is pretty costly.

My Hime, is the closest thing to Madoka that I can think of (although it isn't as awesome). Lot of girls with magical powers that come with a very high price.

These are all great suggestions! I thought of C after posting this, so thanks for mentioning that, and I already knew about most of these my mind just completely blanked on them. ^^;

I was wondering, are their any Visual Novels with this formula?
