am looking for a some war related anime series non mecha or robotics like gundam or stuf like that am looking for tanks airplanes airbombers submarines you know real weapons anime

i just downloaded the 1st ep of ZIPANG and it was great i wont to find more stuff like this WWR2 or modern time Wars

oohh and once when i was checking through titles i found 1 that had screen shots of a nazi air cart carrier so does this ring a bill to any one???

a little dated but:

801 TTS Airbats - It's about the JSDF(Japanese Self Defense Force). Not quite war but more of "recruting" anime co-developed by JSDF.

URDA - CG animation. WW2. Some Sci-fi mixed in but it's mostly in WW2 setting.

i remember watching an anime movie about 8 years ago and the story was a bout ww3 usa go to war with russia and nuclear weapons were used in it the title was somthing like future war ?? not too sure does it ring a bill any one???

Zipan looks really good, unfortunatly there is only one episode available for the moment.

Yukikaze:sci-fu but the planes are realistic and the animation is great.

Blue Submarine No.6 comes to mind when it comes to submarine based warfare.

Yukikaze fits the most into near-future aspect area of aircraft warfare a bit aliong with use of actually military based language and guidelines.
