Yes, she'll either get killed in a BS fashion (Lilinette) or she'll fall in love with one of the central characters and will be "redeemed".

Personally I think Lilinette was wasted as was Stark. They had so much potential.

But how delicious would that be for the plot? To take down the undefeated Byakuya? That would be incredible and it would hit Ichigo very close to home. He respects Byakuya, not only for his fighting ability, but also as Rukia's big brother. Knowing that someone that close to Rukia had been killed would have a serious impact on him.

By any "bad guy" other than Ichigo, in a serious battle he's always won. If you can remind me of an instance where this didn't happen please enlighten me. I'm old and my memory isn't as good as it used to be.

hmmm... i still want to see his shikai at least. so before kubo kills him off, i hope that he at least would give zaraki his zanpakutou's name.

We already know what Ichigo with pain looks like. It would feel like there's just one less significantly characteristic character in the series. I'm not saying it's impossible for it to be good for the plot but...

I would much prefer that zaraki never knows his zanpakutou's name and lives on in the series the same way he always has, on his own. it would remind me of yoda or the emperor using a lightsaber in the SW prequels. it's uncharacteristic and deflates the character's image to have them fit the norm as opposed to preserving what makes them unique

I'm just a romantic at heart. I wanna see him get his panties in a bunch over Rukia being heart hurt because her big brother got gutted

On a related note, it'd be nice to see her vulnerable again. She's a little too tough these days.

I can't help but think that almost no matter what else happens, it'll be something like: Shocked eyes, eyes hidden by hair, half serious look at the bad guy, gets beaten to a pulp, serious look with blood on face, random powerup, win or defeat and wins later in rematch.

I mean at least in HM it was somewhat interesting with the unknown way his hollow power would react...unless something of that unpredictable sort comes into the picture again. I feel like his current power is just a fake replacement for his true powers (which I guess are really gone?), and we know jack about the state of his Zanpakutou.

Actually that has always bothered me. Ichigo fainted shortly after Byakuya left, meaning that if Byaku stuck around or just came back a moment later, he could coup de grace Ichigo and win lol.

It could've simply been adrenaline keeping him up too. The fact that he thought it was over allowed him to relax and thus feel the full effect of his exertion. If the fight continued, anything could've happened. Though didn't Byakuya say that his blade was shattered?

but we already know, as Byakuya also pointed out at the end of their fight, Ichigo was fighting against the rules, not specific people.

Things im looking forward too:
1)ichigo in his vaizard form or hollow form
2)ichigos dad participating in the fight(more depth)
3)ishida and his father have a major role to play in this arc
4)the return of ichimaru gin
5)the vaizards in action again
6)i hope renji will be as kickass as when he fought that fullbringer girl
7)zaraki kenpachi and yachiru(zaraki appearing and 1-hit-ko a quincy)
8)the espadas
