That said, pretty nasty foreshadowing this chapter. Lenalee's line about "I hate innocence" just brings back the vibes of the Togaochi arc. Coupled with her current state, it doesn't look pretty if Lenalee is going to sync with that kind of mentality, if at all.

Allen won pretty handily, getting his Innocence to the next level was the iffy part, though. IIRC, Lenalee, well....not so much.

Allen won easily against Thread, but have his hide handed to him by Tykki AFTER he invoked CC Omega. I'm beginning to doubt what CC Omega is used for.

Anyway, 149 will be Lenalee-centric, or if Hoshino wants to calm us down, the camera switches to the Generals. Worse still, the camera cuts back to the Earl, with a gag pic of the rest of the Noah (except Road) in bed recovering from their injuries.

CC Omega is meant to exorcise the Evil from anything, although, I think it MAY instead be used to liberate the Evil, which might explain why Tyki's true Noah form was unleashed instead.

No spoilers yet, it's too early, so here's some speculation instead:

Lenalee might be forced to be taken to Hevlaska's chamber my Reever to forcefully invoke her Innocence, however, given her resolve is still rather shaky, it may turn out tragic initially.

However, Komui is still in danger, as we last saw in 148, so here's hoping that Komui will be the one to give Lenalee the extra confidence in herself to invoke her Innocence once again.

Komui is very much still in danger and seeing kanda's innocence can last cause it isn't fixed yet
and i dont think Lenalee is gonna sych with her innocence when lavi is there

one thing is for certain Lenalee is going to sync. she is going to get her resolve somehow and sync but after that .... i wonder if she'll take on the akuma alone or if she'll have some help or if crory won't wake

Strange that naruto89 didn't post some sneak peek information for this week's chapter.

Basically, chapter 149 was an angst-building one. A stalemate is reached, but, unfortunately, with the mess escalataing more and more it has setup preparations for the climax to happen in the next two chapters.

Spoiler:

Rouvellier insists on Lenalee to synchronize with her Innocence. He tries to take her to Hevlaska's by force, but, fortunately, Lavi steps in the middle, as well as the Head Nurse.

Rouvellier then switches to his psychological warfare tactics to manipulate Lenalee's will with the state of alarm the Order is suffering.

Lenalee recalls some more memories of hers with Komui, and with tears she willingly concedes to go with Rouvellier. Lenalee tries to calm down Lavi and the head nurse, that this is her own choice, however, Lavi feels restless and empathetic to Lenalee's pain and decides to follow after her.

Elsewhere Hevlaska reports to Komui that they must evacuate, and she feels a bad premonition. (Possibly, Hevlaska might be feel ominous about Lenalee).

But things turn from bad to worse when the barrier is giving in and starts to crack much to the delight of Level 4, which the Akuma starts to let out its homicidal smile.

OMG i knew lavi was gonna interfere on lenalee syncing with innocence but....but krory-sama still wont wake up and if he does he will be weak and the akuma might kill him
