I think I had the same sadistic pleasure I had while watching this as I did when reading it...

For some reason seeing K1 cough up blood and saying goodbye
to the one he loves (insert Rena or Mion here) Just made me giggle like Takano

and The broccoli cauliflower remark also made me giggle

I don't mind the changes so much. I do kinda wish they had taken the death scenes slower, but I get the feeling they couldn't spare the time. I still teared up when Shion died, just the way Satoko looked afterward. I think Hanyuu's time stop woulda made things too cheesy - this way felt more realistic, somehow.

Wow, that changed quite a bit from the game. I was kind of looking forward to watching the bullet float in mid air....

I guess it does make more sense for them not to just stand around waiting to be killed, but some of the little parts that made Takano really cruel in the game (like shooting people mid sentence, some of the things she said before she fired) should have been kept in. The music during Keichi's death or Rika's request didn't have as much impact as I expected, which made those scenes less effective. Otherwise it's a pretty good episode.

dam the screen shots look so good for this one. The subs won't come quick enough, and the ending looks so touching with everyone with Rika in the end as she's being carted off to her doom. Looks like everyone will have knowledge of this hinamizawa and will be fighting to stop Takano from the start and bypass the whole prevent friend from going nuts..

Gah how long do the subs usually take cause I really wanna see this ep so bad^^

A question about what was removed in this episode (and I guess Matsuribayashi-hen?)

I was under the impression that Rika was the one who timestopped in this part and in Matsuribayashi-hen. Have a been misled, is it a different person in each arc, Hanyuu each time, or what?

Actually both times it's done by Hanyuu. One of the few limited power she still posess as a god.

I'll admit I'm torn here. While I agree that some of the changes were needed, the time stop being the most obvious thing that needed to go, other changes where baffling. Why not have Mion say "Hold on...."? What does that change really? It would have added a second or two at most. The art quality dip was the most unforgivable thing in this episode. You guys did a budget episode last, what are you saving it for? This should have been the episode you splurged on! No more stick arms and legs for god's sake!

I would like to give it a ten, but I just can't. Nine it is.

Ah, so the wikipedia summary of Matsuribayashi-hen is innacurate? It states that Rika slows the bullets in Matsuribayashi-hen and snatches it, I just assumed this could happen because Rika is related. Well, this is quite the differrent take on teh ending. If Rika had done it, I had seen it as her love for Hanyuu, and absolute desire for her to live had unlocked some super secret time stopping power she had from Hanyuu's relation to her (they were blood related, though through time, were they not?

Something about 34-tan and her laugh combined with that message, and how there were tons of comments on niconico relating the club members to the tv stations and 34-tan+Yamainu as the censoring board...

I just finished watching the episode and I found the art quality great. Then again, I don't really nitpick at the smallest details like that...Some scenes are obviously lacking, but lets blame that on bad camera angles? xD

I think this episode just confirms Mion's love-love for Keiichi right? xD
Maybe even Rena...

I expected Keiichi's moment to be more dramatic than that, but I guess you can't have it all...
