Plus, it's only volume 1. It has 9 volumes, averaging 1,5~2k on sales, assuming all of them will reach 2k at the end, it's already 18k on BD sales(it could easily reach more since the date of release is still very far for all BD's).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that already an great total?

It's a 2-cour series, no announcements other than that. So expect 2 parts to be adapted.

Jojo meets Erina once again, a nice reunion too ^^
Baron Zeppeli was a good addition to Jojo's team.
He is a pretty weird guy, but with interesting powers.
It's a good thing he started training Jojo 'cause he's gonna need it.
Dio on the other hand is just getting more evil.

Interesting way for JoJo to learn Hamon by holding the wine glass and not spilling the wine. Zeppeli does sound strange, but at least it wasn't over-the-top. Reminds me of the way to kill zombies by blowing their heads off completely.

A good portion of the fans want to see Part 2. Because it have the one who could be called the best JoJo.

I'm reading the manga as I follow the series so I wouldn't know. Well, that's good news, he seems really awesome indeed

I finally got around to watching the first four episodes after this was recommended by a friend. I felt the show was so good that they could've ended it at the end of the third episode. Excited for more!

And man, that OP. I think it's the first OP I've ever use so much CGI?

Didn't someone already mentioned that they will make first two Jojo? The part 3 to part 8 will depend on sales. Besides, they sort of complete part 3 in OVA. The graphic and Lucas Film sound effect was pretty good. I doubt the TV animation can surpass it.

Yep, its all about Battle Tendency for me. I'm already satisfied enough with Stardust Crusader's OVA even that just partial adaptation.

And I'm not dreaming about part 4-7 adaptation, they're just too lengthy by that point. And need 3-4 cour to adapt each part. Might be too overkill to produce no matter how successful the series gonna be.

So I think this bears mentioning, a good chunk of the ending song sounds pretty much exactly The Miracles 1975 hit Love Machine. Have a listen. And yes I already know the song predates Love Machine by a good couple years, but I can't deny the resemblance of the main riff.

Well, when fertygo talked about the Stardust Crusaders OAV, he was more than likely talking about the 1990s one, or the 2000s + 1990s and not just the 2000s OAV series. The main mistake of the 1990s OAVs was to start in media res, expecting people who were not readers of the manga to grasp what's happening. I know, BECAUSE my FIRST contact with JoJo were the two last OAVs of the 1990s version, UNSUBBED. And I not only felt lost, and I also wrote it off as a "gay version of Hokuto no Ken". It took the french publishing of the manga by J'ai Lu, back in 2002/2003, to grasp what I have missed out. And boy I felt humbled.

Yes I mainly talking about 90's OVA, boy.. that was excellent. I don't care its only adaptation of a bit part, we most likely never got Jojo's adaptation on that scale again.

No it wouldn't be,when people talk about sales the number you're hearing is average per volume not the total.

So when you hear people say that something sold 18k,they mean per volume.

What? Why? That doen't make any sense, isn't the total more important?

Total is not important because people that bought, for example, volume 1 are also the same people that will buy volume 2, 3, 4 etc. so it is more reasonable to base the success of sales per volume.
