Current pre-order ranking of 1 volume of limited edition BD is 850th, probably the 2nd last of the late-night animes this season. This is really, really bad. I doubt this will even get more than 1000 copies sold, but we will see.

Teasing piccus for the coming finale!~
O thy omnipotence!! Well the animation looks like it won't disappoint but I would have preferred if they didn't make his arms as illusive / transcendent. Hope we'll get to see that six-armed God like it was in the manga.

So the finale is the god theme. Though I prefer this than the episode where Elsie cook and cthulhu shows up as episodes between capture arc. But what's with kami's arm? Though it's still looks like it's forming but that's just seems off.

Maybe, maybe not. If they drag out every heroine's arc like they did Kanon and Shiori's, then Hakua, Chihiro, and Kusunoki are about all they'll be able to fit into 12 episodes. Even just those 3 might be pushing it, considering Hakua's and Chihiro's arcs are already longer than the previous two's in the manga... And of course they have to go through Jun to get to Tsukiyo...

The adaption really isn't that bad and actually rather good, people seem more hung up about it not going through the material fast enough to get to the good parts. The thing is even if this was popular at most you would probably only see this get up to just past Yui at the most which really isn't a point to end a series on. 52 episodes would be 4 cours.. not many series get 4 seasons....and TWGOK manga is not that popular, it's probably in the 7-10 mark when you compare it to the manga titles from the magazine it is in.

^ Umm, The official Kami Nomi anticipation ranking (not 2ch version) was even better than Ika Musume initially. Kami Nomi is still popular; the abnormal success of Kanon live song event was solely coming from the original fans of manga. Just looking at sales figure doesn't really tell much; its fanbase is still very, very solid. Plus, from Wakaki's (original author's) point of view, publishing of this manga basically changed his 'life'.
However, there is sort of stereotype that the most of Japanese otakus have tha Manglobe is one of the worst studios, and that worked as a great minus.

^ Only thing that Manglobe is consistently good at is animation and art. The reason for most of criticism to manglobe is due to their scene specific directions and boring story, from what I've heard. Not sure about story, but I've clearly seen some critical mistakes in directions in Kami Nomi and Saraiya Goyou.
