I watched this weeks episode on the train home, and boy did i laugh so much . I good to have an episode that was nice on the eyes (you know what i mean) and insanely funny. Such a perfect combo.
Random Zura scenes were probably the highlight for me, though i also liked the Shogun's epic scene at the end. He needed such a scene after the amount of trouble he's had in this story.

Man this week's episode was incredible, couldn't stop laughing!
The girls looked great in their swimsuits! (well except Otae, she doesn't appeal to me at all! ) Zura & Elizabeth scenes were great, but damn....the shogun, he shows how awesome he can be! His nosebleed was pretty...impressive? |

LOL! Another laugh-out-loud episode It was great to see all our favourite characters wreaking havoc at the pool... and yeah, the Shogun is awesomeness Gintama makes the weirdest things seem epic...
Also, quite OT, but can any of you recommend me a couple of your favourite funny Gintama episodes, from either S1 or S2? I'm planning to show an episode or two during an anime club which I got to be the head of next year! I've already shown the Nabe Shogun and Kabuto-mushi gari episodes. It would be great if it's something that someone who doesn't know Gintama could catch on like the two I mentioned, and not anything too dirty or overly Japanese.

Such an amazing episode...even though it's sad that there's no love for Sa-chan, Zura's return made this episode for me. LOL'd when he caught the fish and Elizabeth was trying to light a fire Shogun finally got a moment of awesome after all the embarrassment he's been through, justice is served!
P.S: Gotta love how the girls knew what the guys were saying from that distance...well, Tsukuyo is justified :P |

This. If the people at your anime club are into video games, the Owee arc and the Monster hunter arc (121-123) are the best. Santa arc should be pretty accessible as well. The Yorozuya barber arc (151-152) was hilarious too (the shogun seriously is the best!) but it might be a little too dirty.

I watched episode 216 yesterday. The episode feels a little rushed but I like it. I am surprised that the anime has already caught up to the English scanlations.
There are currently 361 chapters of the manga out. I guess the anime should be able to squeeze out another 15-30 episodes before it completely catches up the manga, again. I'm "guessing" that after it catches up to the manga, the anime will either be stuffed with fillers or it will get cancelled again. >: |

Can't believe I forgot about Owee, I think I'll probably go with that one! Was 153 the one where Kagura couldn't sleep? Cause I agree, that episode was great as well! I would show the barber arc but it being a girls' school and all, I should probably restrain myself I'm going to get this club out of the same mainstream shounen and shoujo shows kids always want to watch... Gintama's going to make it epic
