Since the recent other world genre has become so saturated, some up front info about the manga so far - tldr; it's far more charming than most. Our main character is not a super powered beast or lusted after by a fleet of women. His partner is integral to his success and their relationship feels completely genuine. There is almost no ecchi that I've seen so far. It has also avoided some of the more common tropes somewhat deftly.

It's a genuinely pleasant read, with the other world elements incredibly subdued thus far. I hope it keeps on this path. I won't say it is breaking new ground or stands above the rest, but it is certainly a 'comfort food'.

The manga cuts down the story quite a lot. There actually is a bit of ecchi but it is adapted out of the manga.

Spoiler: He hunts with an older brother (typical cowardly hyper-aggressive idiot) and the protagonist pair save his life. Most series would have the older brother claim credit, but actually he admits that the younger saved him. He even reconciles with his father who had cast him out as a youth. It's a genuinely pleasant read, with the other world elements incredibly subdued thus far. I hope it keeps on this path. I won't say it is breaking new ground or stands above the rest, but it is certainly a 'comfort food'.
