But I understand where Fukuda is coming from.. He did create Shinn as this charecter who was suposed to blur the line between between an anti-hero and a villain. And ofcourse he failed miserably doing that but Fukuda probably thinks he succeeded. So when the SRWZ writers change the whole point of Shinn's character (For the better), it's kind of natural for him to be pissed. But what I really don't understand is why he bothers with stuff like this.. He created two of the most successful Anime series of the past decade.. You would imagine someone like that would have his hands full with some new Anime or something..

Someone asked him, he didn't wake up one day and decided to share his opinion on the matter on a whim. Besides, he's not bashing SRW or anything- people need to calm down and stop trying so hard to find something new to bitch about in relation to SEED or Destiny.

It's kinda sad that you decided to stop watching them just before things break away from the MSG homage, and that you let everyone else convince you not to watch them.
And wingdarkness, Kira was plenty emotive in the original SEED series. It was in Destiny where he kept an emotionless mask up.

People already pestered him about it around early last Fall :-

But in short, he is interested in making a SeeD movie, but Sunrise did not give him the approval and/or budget as they hold the overall rights. So Fukuda can neither confirm nor deny if anything is in the works. The only thing of interest is that he mentioned that he is not done with SeeD yet. |
