Hello there all.
I've been part of a few forums before but this one seems the best among them so far. I've been reading everything and hope to become a good member of the community. Other than that, I hope to be good friends with a lot of you ^.^ |

Hello. I don't look like an otaku, I look like someone's dad. It's why I call myself a stealth otaku. I wear dad like clothing because well I am after all someone's dad The anime in my house is mine though, not my 13 year old son's Why do I think I'm an otaku? Well if I didn't have an atypical older male's shape, I'd likely love to go to Anime North as Sailormoon. Hey, I'm really that daring. But with this shape, I'm not that mean. I think I'm an otaku, because I actually will try and get my son a girlfriend just so I can have schoolgirls around But don't worry, I am likely more likely to want her mother. It's fun to look at schoolgirls, but I don't actually want one. Now if I can just convince the wife to wear a fuku .... And the things I could legally do to Sailormoon if she'd just wear the outfit .... Alas I married a real woman, not a fantasy. She's not interested My hobby room is clearly the room of an otaku. And I don't watch sports. I can fix a computer, I collect models, and I have anime pictures on the wall. Fortunately I am the head of the household, so I don't have to ask how to hide my anime porn collection And yes the wife knows I have anime porn. Being that it's my income that pays the bills I enjoy broadband internet, so I can get a steady stream of online anime. And I am not limited by an allowance (although what's left after paying the bills doesn't go far). I have cool trendy things a little bit. I'm a Nintendo DS fan. I simply don't like most console games, so even though I could own a PS3 I just don't want one. But I've got an R4 for my DS, and yes, I carry around a collection of my fav anime gallery on it (in addition to games). But at 46, I guess I see a lot of things differently. I was here before anime. heck I am old enough to predate a lot of things. Rolegaming, I love to play paper n pencil RPGs, and I was part of the generation that invented the industry. But alas, I don't know anyone that wants to play the Sailormoon RPG (I often wonder if that's good or bad). Some of my adult buddies like anime. And what is always funny, is most of them don't really look like anime fans. I also have a fellow anime dad friend. So remember guys, sometimes your school friends parents will like the stuff too eh. |

Hey y'all! I'm quite overwhelmed at the size of this place, but I hope to have lots of fun here! ^_^
Okay, so, I'm Irish, 17 and I've been 'enlightened' for about 2 years. My first experience with anime was Pokémon (oh, the shame!); however, I really started liking anime when I chanced upon the original Ghost in the Shell in my local music store (finding anime there is a rare occurrence!) and, remembering that I liked Pokémon, I picked it up. I enjoyed it, but most of it went over my head. I really got into anime when I bought Akira. And then I started collecting Fullmetal Alchemist on DVD and I realised that I'd be buying a lot more anime DVDs! First experience with manga was Case Closed, I read considerably less manga than I do anime, but I'm working on that! My favourite anime series is, by a considerable margin, the great Neon Genesis Evangelion while my favourite anime movie is probably End of Evangelion, though with Tekkonkinkreet and Akira close runners-up! Favourite manga series is probably Case Closed, though I'm reading Osamu Tezuka's 'Ode to Kirihito' right now and I'm mightily impressed! So, that's-a-me! |

Hello I am new to the world of anime...Well sort of I have been an english dub performer for about 5 or 6 years but I really know nothing and I joined this site because I like getting feed back on Characters so that I can improve them and so that I can learn about things others have done that I dont want to later.

Hello, I'm new here and my name is Marion, mostly "Zonak" or "Yohnos" on the web. One of my interest is anime&manga. Nice to meet you all! Or something like that. I don't like to introduce myself.
Hmmm, why is there no "ask an question here" in Fan Creations? I have an little problem with Photshop CS and now I don't know where I need to ask it. I know there are forums where you can ask those questions but I'm not that person who only registered everywhere to only ask an question. |
