Wow, Otae even begged Gin to hold off on attacking Hajime and dude straight up ignored her pleas and went right for the jugular. Knowing how brutal Otae can be when pissed off, Gin's really got a death wish
Shinpachi's likely the one to deal the final blow though, and that moment's going to be really heart-wrenching. Heck, based on this latest development we might even get a Gin vs. Shin battle in the future.

The part where Otae bowed down to Gintoki is already heart wrenching enough for me ;_;

I hope this is what will happen. Shinpachi needs to showcase his growth.

While crying to boot. Never thought I'd see her so desperate.
Translations seems slower than usual.. What happened?
Spoiler for 407:
Gintoki begged the Shinsengumi to wait while he somehow restores Obi-One's consciousness from Kenofi (Kenofi is the robot half).
Meanwhile, Kondou and Kyuubee infiltrate the mothership . They want to stop the beam cannon from the mothership while Kenofi is preoccupied.
It is revealed, however, that the beam cannon cannot be stopped and Obi-One's consciousness cannot be restored.
Meanwhile still, Shinpachi finds out that Gintoki went as far as bowing his head and begging in order to save Obi-One. That's partially why he cut off Kenofi's arm to save Gintoki.
Again, Gintoki in this arc reminds me of Jirochou. They don't mind playing the bad guy in order to save everyone. T_T
It really does feel like the series is winding down now. Gin bequeathing his sword to Shinpachi was quite the moment.
However, I doubt Shin won the fight with that strike. He's probably going to receive a fatal blow next chapter from Hajime's attack. Maybe Hajime's human side will be the one to finish the cyborg, since the brief flashback proved he's not totally gone.
Even though Shinpachi rarely gets any spotlight, he is actually supposed to be quite strong. For example, he was able to cut off Nizou's arm in the Benizakura arc and he even defeated Pirako in Kabukicho's Four Devas arc.
"Ippon." (It means One Full Point in kendo.)
At the end, Obi One uses his cannon on the space ship. T_T
As expected, this chapter is really sad. T_T
Yeah, I've really been noticing how this serious has been going through cerebus syndrome since chapter 350…
Continuing from last chapter, Matsudaira comes to confess. Gintoki theorizes that the thing that Sadaharu hid in his room is Shogun-sama's corpse. Lololololololol.
I don't even dare spoil the rest because it is so good.
