maybe it was complexed by Shutara and since she is a party to the division 0 then decide to create Nemu with a model Shutara for him to do things he wanted to do Shutara (mistreated, give order , belittling ...)

even then may have to take the example with yakuza who would have thought he could have been part of the divison 4, we all thought I'm sure he would have had a former Division Kenpachi ... and can not therefore have to rely on that Shutara just made it known by its laboratory, medical and mayuri could have done as part Hikifune Division 12, but can not throw this theory yet not before more Shutara on ...

I don't think isshin was captain, or even part of the zero squad, only because of how he much he struggled with aizen, and was even defeated. combined with yoruichi, and kisuke. Plus when describing how shinigami restrict the size of their swords, he talked about captain class (kinda referring to himself? And the zero squad is way above taicho. What's the term they use? Officers' what's the specific jap term
Isshin seems quirky, but the zero squad all seem kinda cocky. Could easily be wrong though, isshin could be the odd man out which is why he left, lost his powers and now they're not even back to what they used to be

isshin was definitely at least a captain. he has the cloak and it's interesting how he wears it hiding the symbol on the back. it may very well be the zero squad symbol under there. when fighting aizen he did better than most if not all of the captains. i think he is most likely zero squad based on that and the fact that his full reveal hasn't happened yet and we were introduced to zero squad first, setting it up for later. also, we don't know how much his powers were diminished

To answer your question, the Japanese term is Taicho, which means Captain. Fukutaichos are Vice-captains.

Unfortunate but true. "Jap" is pejorative regardless of how you intend to use it (though I agree with you, I don't think they meant it racially here). But better to figure it out on here than carelessly use it in RL and look like an idiot.

EDIT: With all your discussions, nobody noticed that Origami levitates? The class is not it? *ok I go*
