The school festival ain't really a filler element, but I'm not going to spoil you as to why it isn't.

Well I was happy that Shana and Yoshida have matured to the point of not getting angry for every little thing. And seeing them want more out of there relationship's with Yuji is certainly a fresh breath of air.

So much for the Carmel-san special where she says that there will be more action in this season. Think the J.C. Staff is purposely trying to sharpen the hunger for good action by depriving the first episodes of it?

i really do wonder when Yuijis parents got married, seems like they were about Yuijis age...

Overall a good episode, interesting how they focused on the bracelets so much..... they got to be something....... cooool.........

I wonder if we will actually see them in costumes?

Seems like the next episode will enlighten us to a lot, so just cant wait till its out...... and subbed........

Looks like I enjoy this season a lot more than some of the posters. (Neener, neener.)

I actually like the slice of life stuff. As far as I'm concerned, not seeing people lob fireballs at each other is a fair deal for it.

I don't crave action all that much. To be honest, while I didn't dislike it, the Yuri arc didn't thrill me any more than the Konoe arc. I just enjoyed both. And I'd certainly miss the romance if it disappeared (or was conclusively and definitely resolved.)

It couldn't be prevented that the dynamism portrayed during Margery's memory arc slowed down once the plot returned back to the main storyline.

Nonetheless, the new twists and old-faces apparitions made this episode passable.

Spoiler:

The new twists is the long-distanced crisis that is brewing to Yuuji from the far horizon.

Alright this episode was pretty mediocre and well nothing much happened in this episode, as I thought the show was finally starting to move forward. Good thing that the next episode seems to be what I was waiting for.

I had mixed feelings about the episode. It was neat to see Yuji's dad and all, but the animation quality took a real hit, and the pacing just felt... off, for some reason.

The fact that the story is finally getting back on track, I'm shivering with anticipation.

To me, I enjoyed the episode. And the scenes with Kantarou were nice. I really don't mind the general slowdown in the action that the series has had so far this season. To me, I'm enjoying the show as it progresses and as the action picks up, I'm sure I'll enjoy that too.

I agree with you to watch them mature was quite a nice change of pace. They both aknowledge that its going to take more than them arguing and given each other love declarations of war to win out in the end. The fact that Yuji is completely oblivious to this makes it even more refreshing since the girls are doig it on their own and learning as they go along.

If he and Shana could just kill Pheles before getting back to the Silver issue.

How can you be so sure that Pheles is the antagonist?

Yeah, but LT's statement made me think about how J.C. Staff might actually change the ending in the anime...

Ugh...it's as if JC Staff hasn't played with the novel material enough as it is in S1 ending...I would seriously hate to have Shana die on us because of the anime.

Their last minute changes were apparent in the lack of video quality in some of their episodes in the Konoe Arc. If they do decide to change the course of their anime ending, then expect the later episodes to have poor quality due to last minute drawings and animation production.

So much for daily things as dull as this. Not that it would matter in the long run.
