I managed to beat her a moment ago by playing veeery defensive, i. e. move only so that cover can activate and bring a few revive potions because her magic hurts very much, especially if Wil is targeted from 2+ copies Rely mostly on non-elemental weapons (or anything that's not holy, dark or wind). Eushully with her 3rd weapon + a lucky crit can deal good damage while tanking their physical hits well enough. Yuela + Prevail 3 works fine and she reached level 70 . I used Wil mainly just to soak up damage and the "Yuela's Guardian" + "Cover" ability. Unfortunately, I forgot to equip the Ful Mil to the character who defeated the real one, so only 1 Fairy Bead >_<, but I'm not that interested in min-maxing or all the optional level 90 dungeons.
Edit: It's quite annoying that despite the message of "progress will be carried to new game+" I still have to do all non-plot related stuff again (i. e. Sin's Gate - not too bad due to divine bone farming - and the Shipwreck). This time, though, I rushed straight to the Darkelf captain in the 3rd part of Shipwreck mission and pwned him before he could even move to the ship ^^ |

"Colored steels cannot be acquired until the character's second synthesis quest is completed (requires the char to be level 55, then visit Eushully's house to begin). They will not spawn at all until you have completed the quest (no idea how the random ones work though). There are 8 hardset for each of their colored steels and 3 that give a random colored steel. Locations: Spoiler: Eushully steel Yuidora Mine - Bottomless Pit Yuma Lake - Forgotten Caverns" Eushully's third weapon is also physically based - Eushully Vortex. Needs her previous weapon (the holy one) + divine bones (from Sin's Gate mining point) + Giant Husk. Prevail is a skill that makes you stronger, the less HP you have. |

I stayed at base. I put Wil at mid entrance and Yuela at top entrace and the maid fan at lower entrance. Then placed Emelita and Serawi behind at yeah with the guardian thing. Well I never thought the guardian thing would work like defend an attack so I never used it other than the tank (Wil). I used the other maids too. 1st attack was 3 AOE (emelita and 2 maids) attacks, ranged attacks and heal. 2md turn ranged attack. 3rd turn AOE with Emelita, ranged attacks and send 1-2 useless units up front. After this I won. It was close call because in at the end of 2 turn Wil was reduced to 30 hp. If he had fallen at 2nd turn I would have had to send the dragon or alfar to be cannon fodder. I wasted 31 small potions.

I'm currently in Chapter 8 in NG+ (Sewari's route) and 1 step away from Chapter 9, but I can't seem to be able to recruit Paraskevas. Quest 66, Prepare Substitutes, wouldn't complete and trigger the next quest. Am I missing something?

Suina is still "usable" just because of the bowling ball and death proc vs gobles, which are about 1/2 of what you will be killing in the NG+ mine dungeons. However you also get Lily, which can use the bowling ball a lot more effectively. Rags is also very anti-goble but her biggest problem is her low spd score: spd becomes relatively important in NG+ because not taking a 3rd attack, or even doing one yourself is very important. Old characters are too plagued by the stat growth lock as well as relatively low growth rate. Some of them do not even get new skills on their later level ups which is a disappointment. They also do not possess the innate resistances that most NG+ characters come with. Suina would actually be a VERY good character if her stat growth is not terrible (I guess you can feed her a ton of stat stones). Her array of skills is quite good: with a powerful defensive skill, a range 3 attack as well as a melee omni attack... // I ran out of pots on Emelita's trial and died... those gobles are no joke for lv24s... make good use of guardian and cover skill by placing teammate together. during ur turn u have to make sure that u will destroy the envoy that u fighting if u let them have like lingering few hp left, their prevail kick in, in my 3 rd run i throw lv 99(aht,suina, and the eushully girl keep kicking the bucket) at the envoys they still capable of killing them if they have prevail on.

With Prevail mobs you want to either burst them down (with training bracers so the duo can combo them), or just strike them down at range with the right spell and accessories equipped (almost no elemental magic can hurt you if you have Magic Resist III bracers+tier 2 elemental resist beck equipped even with very low Res). Alternatively use a party member with prevail (ie: yuela) to finish the job. My emelita build was pretty amazing on that map as well. (reflect+bloodsuck) Quote:

Maria's Heart is a Yuela route specific item. So if you aren't on Yuela's route or haven't done it, you won't have one. Holy water is from the church after you complete the item turn ins for her to expand her stock. I think it's available after you give her the 20 of each angel item but I'm not 100% sure. Pelusoa Blade and Karmic Staff are both from the NG+ mine. Sky Mana staff is a reward from I think the Mikansel Hannah escort, one of the mission objectives. Heaven necklace is from one of the mission objectives at the Alchemist Test ground mine level.
I really have to say once again, make sure you're doing the bonus objectives as much as possible in NG+. You can skip the 100% control one since that's just money but the others usually give important stuff or at least decent items.
